In 2023, in the 37th Chinese Chemistry Olympiad (Final) hosted by the Chinese Chemical Society and jointly organized by Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University and Beijing Chemical Society, Liu Ruiqian, a student in the third (4th) class of senior high school, won the first prize (gold medal) in the country with his solid foundation and good performance.
In the 37th Chinese Chemistry Olympiad (preliminary round), our school won 8 first prizes, 21 second prizes and 3 third prizes in the provincial competition. The number of provincial students and the total number of winners reached a new high in the history of the school chemistry Olympiad.
In the 2023 Shanghai High School Chemistry Competition, our school won 5 first prizes (15 in total), 9 second prizes, and 7 third prizes. Among them, the number of first prizes and the total number of winners ranked first in the city.
In the 2023 Shanghai Youth Applied Chemistry and Skills Competition, our school won 10 first prizes, 19 second prizes, 19 third prizes, and the first prize (first place) for the group. Among them, the number of first prizes and the total number of winners ranked first in the city.
