Wang Kaisheng text
Qingdao's highest Taiping Mountain, leads to the southeast to become a soil stock in Taipingjiao, stretching into the sea like a boot. But this boot is different from the Italian one. Italy is a modern girl's high heels, with a section of skin-lustre jade shins, and Taipingjiao, because of its remote terrain and quiet scenery, has also become a tourist attraction. Writer Su Xuelin poured his pen into the delicate and romantic unique to women, calling this place "the land of light" and "the sea of crystals".
left a text of praise for Taipingjiao, and the writer Su Xuelin was one of the earlier. In the summer of 1935, she and her husband came to Qingdao to spend the summer and lived in the teachers' dormitory of Shandong University on Fushan Road. During this period, she wrote the famous "The Afternoon of Taiping Point".
Tracing the origin of the name of Taipingjiao, on December 10, 1922, China's Beiyang** took back Qingdao, and then in the hope of praying for peace, the three places named by the Germans were renamed Taiping Mountain, Taiping Jiao and Taiping Bay respectively.
At the intersection of Zhanshan 2nd Road and Taipingjiao 1st Road, in the thick shade of the tall French plane tree, there is a Laoshan granite stone building, which is quite similar to the famous flower and stone building on the Huanghai Road not far away. This is built in 1931 Taipingjiao 1st Road Building 16, designed by the Japanese architect Hisao Onishi and the first architect Yu Lifu, the Chinese architect Tang Airu, was the first period of Shanghai Electric Power Company President He Qing's private villa. After the liberation, this building, together with many villas around it, was assigned to the city communication office.
In 1956, Liu Yazi, a poet and founder of the Southern Society, stayed here to recuperate. As early as the late autumn of 1934, Liu Yazi traveled north to Beijing and Tianjin, passed through Qingdao on the way back, and wrote "The fairies on the sea are slim, and Laoshan is full of splendor." Yan Qi is strange and the king is resting, and the pine wind is cool" and "the seaside scenery is good, and the winds come and go." It's a pity that it doesn't coincide with the hot summer season, and the ice muscle and jade bones shine on people" and many other poems praising Laoshan Mountain, Zhongshan Park and bathing beaches.
No. 23 Taiping Kok 1st Road, built in the thirties and forties of the last century, was once an American villa, located on a rock cliff on the Taiping Kok waterfront. The small building is condescending, the courtyard is open, and the headland is beautiful. Pushing open the window here, there is the vast blue waves of Taiping Bay. In July 1954, the literary giant Guo Moruo stayed here. During his stay in Qingdao, he took the opportunity to visit the eastern line of Laoshan Mountain, a famous mountain on the sea. First go to the Taiping Palace under the Lion Rock and listen to the "Taiping Dawn Bell". Then he went to Huayan Temple, the only Buddhist temple in Laoshan Mountain, and praised Huayan Scenic Spot as "Negative Mountain Hanhai", which is the crown of Laoshan scenery and can live for a long time.
In the temple, Guo Moruo became interested in two copies of the "Yuan Turtle of the Book of Books", especially one of the manuscripts. The Book of Yuan Turtle is a large-scale book compiled in the Song Dynasty, similar to foreign encyclopedias, when most of the domestic Song engravings have been lost. After discussing with the monks, he borrowed a few volumes and brought them back to the Taipingjiao villa, and after a few days of careful proofreading, he was identified as a copy of the Yuan Dynasty, which was very precious. The only book in China that survived the island city, Guo Moruo's trip to Qingdao, contributed a lot. On this trip, Guo Moruo recorded in his book "Guanzi Jixiao": "In that year, on vacation in Qingdao, due to the introduction of Zhang Gong, I was able to borrow the manuscript of the Ming Dynasty of Huayan Temple in Laoshan "Shufu Yuan Turtle". Another check of his chronology, this trip is Guo Moruo's only visit in the 50s.
No. 21 Taipingjiao 1st Road, next to No. 23 where Guo Moruo lived, this villa was built in 1931 and became the Belgian Consulate in Qingdao in early 1947. In the midsummer of 1978, the family of Li Kuchan, a professor and painter of the ** Academy of Fine Arts who had not been liberated for a short time, came to Qingdao for summer vacation at the invitation of Qingdao Institute of Arts and Crafts and stayed in this quiet villa near the sea. As early as 1961, Li Kuchan came to Qingdao to hold art exhibitions and lectures. This time, accompanied by the painter Zhang Fushan and the young painter Wang Jiahua, they visited and visited, chatted and painted, and left a number of Chinese paintings such as "** Vision".
Writer Shen Congwen moved to Qingdao from Beijing in August 1931, and Yang Zhensheng, then president of National Qingdao University, hired him as a lecturer in the Department of Chinese. In his spare time, he often walked from Huiquan Fort to Taiping Kok via Huashi Tower. The writer Ba Jin came to Qingdao at his invitation, and Shen Congwen accompanied Ba Jin with his sister Shen Yuemeng to visit Taipingjiao. In the fifties of the last century, the state arranged for a large number of cultural celebrities to come to Qingdao for recuperation and summer, and everyone gathered in the Taipingjiao area of Badaguan for a while.
Mao Dun, who used to be the Minister of Culture and the chairman of the Chinese Writers Association, usually likes to go for a walk in the Taiping Bay area in the morning or eveningSun Li, a writer of the Lotus Lake School, likes to look at Taipingjiao aloneCao Yu, a playwright who lives next to Taiping Kok, created the drama "Bright Sky" hereThe movie "The Second Handshake", filmed in 1980, is based on Zhang Yang's name**. The scenes in the play, such as the rescue of people on American beaches, are all done on the beaches and reefs of Taiping Bay. When performing artists Xie Fang, Yu Yang and other actors came to shoot the film, they stayed in villas in the Taiping Kok area.
Similarly, part of the TV series adapted from Lao She's feature-length ** "Two Horses", which is about the United Kingdom, was filmed at Villa 3 (now No. 9) Taiping Kok 1st Road. The site was built in 1928 as a flat-story villa designed by the French architect Bernard during the German occupation. In 1940, the British engineer Grimes bought it from the American businessman Fu Daofu and renovated it into a typical English Tudor-style villa. The wavy large slope roof occupies half the height of the building, and the red brick clear water wall and red bull tongue tile make it look like a village and town in Europe in the last century. In 1946, it was transferred to the name of the British Consul General in Qingdao, Gao Helu, as his official residence. Chen Changhao, former political commissar of the Red Fourth Front Army, also recuperated here for a long time and translated works on Marxism-Leninism in Russian.
Since 2017, many villas such as No. 19 Taiping Kok 1st Road have been renovated and opened to the public. It has successively ushered in writer and cultural scholar Wang Meng, calligrapher Zhang Hai, as well as Ouyang Jianghe, Xi Chuan, Zhang Qinghua, Qiu Huadong, Su Tong, Li Peifu, Jin Yucheng, Zhang Wei, Chen Yingsong, Shi Yifeng and other contemporary literary masters. Mr. Wang Meng looked out of the window at the green trees and red tiles, the blue sea and the blue sky along the coast of Taiping Bay, and was in a happy mood, praising this place as a treasure place for writers' creation. He was dipped in ink, and the inscription was written: The sea and the sky. The poet Ouyang Jianghe wrote a new poem "Old Qingdao" hereWriter Wang Gan Chengxing inscribed a plaque for Monet's garden and wrote the lyrical essay "The Café of Taiping Kok".
