He forcefully criticized Chen Duxiu's capitulationism and Zhang Guotao's leftist mistakes. In 1929, there was confusion within the Red Army, and some people even raised the question of "how long can the red flag be fought?"* Clear answer: "A spark can start a prairie fire".
In 1946, the Kuomintang planned to attack Yan'an, and ** made an unexpected strategic decision - to evacuate Yan'an.
