As an international study destination, Singapore not only has a high-quality education system, but also a breathtaking culture and cuisine. In this pre-departure guide, I'll share some tips and advice for you. Come and explore this exciting city with me!

Passport within the validity period (it is recommended to make several copies).

Printed IPA;The IPA is valid for 3 months from the date of approval or until the course start date, whichever is later. Students who have already obtained an IPA need to pay attention to the validity period of the IPA and prepare for entry as soon as possible.

SG Arrival Card;Submit up to 72 hours prior to arrival.

Offer letter from the school (printout).

A printed copy of your ticket's itinerary.

In the visa documents: original academic certificates and transcripts and notarized documents.

2-inch white background** (it is recommended to prepare a few more).

A small amount of S$ cash, around S$1,000 is recommended

Go to the WeChat mini-program "International Travel Health Certificate" to generate a vaccination certificate in Chinese and English, print it and keep the electronic version at the same time. At present, there is no vaccine requirement for entry into Singapore, but if you exchange for a long-term visa, the ICA will verify whether the vaccine is valid.

Daily necessities: It is recommended that students bring a "travel-sized" toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, shampoo and body soap, etc. You can bring your own quilt** pillowcase, and the air-conditioning quilt is enough. Also, bring your favorite umbrella, it rains almost every day during Singapore's rainy season.

Electronic products: laptops, headphones, power banks, USB flash drives, etc. are all must-haves, and you can also bring an iPad to be more portable. In addition, remember to bring the British standard charger, data cable and power strip, and buy an adapter in advance in case it can't be charged when it arrives.

Medicines: You can bring some daily household medicines, such as cold medicines, allergy medicines, stomach medicines, or other personal medicines. You can also bring some vitamins to prevent water and soil adaptation.

Clothing: Singapore is located in a tropical rainforest climate zone, with average temperatures ranging from 25 to 32 degrees. Therefore, I often wear summer clothes (outdoor) and spring clothes (indoor), and I don't need to bring too thick clothes. The temperature of indoor air conditioning in Singapore is low, so it is recommended to prepare 2-3 coats. Also, the school does not allow students to wear flip-flops or slippers to school, so be sure to be careful!

Bank card, cash: It is recommended that you exchange a small amount of cash for daily use before you come. China Customs stipulates that each person can carry a maximum of 20,000 RMB (around 3,740 Singapore dollars, the specific amount is subject to the exchange rate of the day) in and out of the country, and the excess amount needs to be declared to the customs in writing.

*Card: Purchase and keep the ** card in China and Singapore in advance, and know in advance what necessary software or data bill details are available. If you have not purchased a Singapore** card in advance, you can also purchase it at Singapore Airport. Domestic ** cards must remember to open international roaming.

Bus card: It is very convenient to take the subway, bus and taxi in Singapore, and it is very cost-effective to pay by mobile phone or get a transportation card. There are two types of travel cards in Singapore: FlashPay and EZ-Link, both of which can also be used at convenience stores.
