Recently, Profura, through its subsidiary Provator, acquired all the shares of Framptons, a food and beverage company known for producing oat drinks.
Provator focuses on investing in financially struggling companies that have a healthy core business and high growth potential.
Headquartered in Shepton-Mallett, UK, Framptons manufactures high-quality products and is committed to supporting local communities.
Founded in 1898, Framptons has a long history of processing and packaging plant-based products such as eggs, dairy products, and more recently, oat milk, working with brands like Shaken Udder shakes and mighty. They are also committed to sustainability, with a plan in place where very little waste is sent to landfill, and almost 100% of the waste generated on site is utilized.
The newly formed Board of Directors is made up of members of Profura and Framptons.
Bernt Ivarsson, owner of the Profura Group, said: "Our experience with this type of business makes me look forward to starting our change work. We have the right key talent to be able to develop Framptons and take a leading position in the market. ”
Profura said it is committed to carrying on Frampton's legacy at Shepton Mallet, wanting to ensure it continues to serve as a community pillar and employer in the future.
