Travel, in essence, is an escape from life, a process of letting go of work and family pressure, finding oneself and feeling life. But for those working in the travel industry, travel is just a part of life. As a member of the tourism industry, I have been fortunate to meet tourists from all walks of life, and their work and life have given me a deeper understanding of tourism.
The first thing I came into contact with was the tour guides, who are known as the "engineers of the soul of tourism" in the tourism industry, and they are the vanguard of the tourism industry. Their daily job is to take tourists through the streets and alleys of the city, introducing the local customs, history and culture. The beautiful scenery we saw, the stories we heard, and the cultural heritage we felt during the trip were all carefully prepared by the tour guides.
Not only do they have to get acquainted with the local attractions and history, but they also have to learn to deal with all kinds of unexpected situations and solve various problems of tourists. Sometimes, in order to make the experience better for tourists, they also have to play various roles such as actors, photographers, shopping consultants, etc. It can be said that the work of the tour guide is very hard, but they enjoy it. Because they love the industry and love to see tourists feel the charm of tourism under their own leadership.
In addition to tour guides, there are many other occupations in the tourism industry, such as hotel staff, scenic spot staff, tour bus drivers, and so on. Their work may seem simple, but it's also very hard. They have to deal with all kinds of tedious work, and they also have to deal with all kinds of unexpected situations.
For example, hotel staff, who have to clean their rooms, wash towels, change bed linens, and deal with all kinds of discerning guests every day. The staff of the scenic spot should maintain the health and safety of the scenic spot every day, and also guide tourists to travel in a civilized manner. Coach drivers, they have to drive around the road every day, but also to ensure the safety of tourists. Their work is not as glamorous as that of a tour guide, but it is just as important.
Through meeting these tourists, I understand that tourism is not only a relaxing journey, but also a window to show the image of the city. Every tourist is the guardian of this window, and they use their hard work to bring tourists a beautiful tourism experience and contribute to the development of the city.
Their work is hard work, but it's very rewarding. In future trips, I will cherish the fruits of their labor more and respect their work more. Because, their work has made me see the charm of tourism and the beauty of life.
