In remembrance!53 years ago today, Mr. Xu Teli passed away @ Yangguang Military.
On November 28, 1968, Mr. Xu Teli, a proletarian revolutionary and outstanding educator, passed away at the age of 91.
He devoted himself to education at the age of 18 and actively participated in the Nanchang Uprising and the arduous 25,000-mile Long March. In 1940, he founded the Yan'an Academy of Natural Sciences, and served as its president, presiding over the compilation and review of the first batch of primary and secondary school textbooks in New China.
And the more special identity is that he is the best teacher.
With his outstanding knowledge and profound revolutionary feelings, Mr. Xu Teli has made outstanding contributions to China's education and scientific research.
During the Long March, he persevered and fought bravely for the revolutionary cause.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he regarded education as his own responsibility and founded the Academy of Natural Sciences to contribute to the cultivation of scientific talents. His educational philosophy and practice have had a far-reaching impact on China's educational undertakings.
