The Pulse Bag Dust Collector is a self-cleaning dry dust removal system. The Pulse Bag Collector removes particulate matter and dust from the surface of the internal filter bag through bursts of compressed air. Pulse bag filter is a common dust removal and environmental protection equipment in industrial production to meet air quality safety requirements and meet the emission requirements of the Environmental Protection Bureau.

Pulsed baghouses contain no moving parts, so they provide reliable continuous operation and efficient filtration efficiency, and are designed to effectively collect and remove potentially harmful particulate gas fumes that can enter the atmosphere. Pulse bag filters are widely used due to their high dust removal efficiency, easy operation, low energy consumption and low maintenance requirements.

The name of the pulse bag filter is based on its cleaning method, which uses short pulse jet cleaning. In a pulsed baghouse, dust is collected on the outer surface of the filter bag, where a dust cake is usually formed. On a timed basis or based on the pressure drop when the dust cake is at the appropriate thickness, the controller initiates sequential pulses of compressed air into the inside of the filter bag, one row (or more rows) at a time, blowing the dust and dust cake out of the filter bag and removing them by gravity falling into the ash hopper. The correlation of the compressed air through the additional air of the venturi nozzle induces a shock wave and ripple effect on the filter bag, which enhances the mechanical force of the initial jet of compressed air itself, removing dust particles from the filter bag.

The pulse bag filter is superior to the bag filter with other ash cleaning methods. Its basic advantage lies in the cleaning power of the pulse jet. Pulses of compressed air are typically in the range of 100 to 200 microseconds and can be operated around the clock without interrupting the ventilation of dusty air and without shutting down to clean the filter bags.

Pulsed baghouses are commonly used in industrial manufacturing environments such as chemical and mineral processing plants, grain plants, food processing plants, steel mills, metal processing and manufacturing plants, asphalt plants, and many other industries that benefit from pulsed baghouses to maintain air quality and meet environmental standards.
