Autumn and Winter Check-in Challenge
The path of cultivation is the process of seeking the true self. The true self is not the physical self, but the spiritual self, the insequential body. The highest state of Taoist cultivation is to attain the Tao and become an immortal, and to attain the supreme Tao fruit.
However, the world is lost in the world, and the mind is unclear, and the path of cultivation is out of reach. How to solve the worries? The only way to do it is to practice. The path of cultivation is not achieved overnight, and it requires perseverance in order to see the true self.
Revealing the truth is the foundation of cultivation. The true permanence, the permanence of the true self, has no birth and no death, no beginning and no end. Revealing the true nature of the body means knowing the true self as it is, breaking through delusional attachments, and freeing the mind naturally. This is not an easy task, and it needs to be gradually realized in practice.
Not being limited to words is also the essence of practice. Words can express morality, but they are ultimately limited. The Tao is formless, indescribable, and can only be understood. Therefore, practitioners need to transcend the limitations of words and experience the true meaning of the Tao with their hearts. This realm cannot be expressed by words, only by the mind.
So how do you do it and not stick to words? You need to start with your heart. There is no good or evil in the mind. Practitioners need to get rid of delusions and return to their true hearts. Only the true self can be known, and delusion can only bring illusory happiness and suffering.
At the beginning of the practice, you need to meditate. When the mind is quiet, delusions disappear and the true self emerges. When the mind is not still, you can visualize the beauty of nature and the good deeds of people, so that the mind can be purified. At the same time, I also need to read more scriptures and practice the Dharma diligently to help me feel at peace.
Secondly, it is necessary to cultivate virtue. The virtuous one, Ben also. There is a German side and there is a way. Cultivating virtue means doing good deeds and accumulating virtue and benefiting sentient beings. Those who are virtuous and virtuous will naturally receive much help and their wishes will come true. Moral cultivation needs to start from daily life, and every word and deed must be in line with ethical norms.
Again, enlightenment is required. Enlightenment requires going beyond rational thinking and experiencing the true meaning of the Tao with the heart. Enlightenment is not an overnight achievement, but requires continuous comprehension and progress in practice. Those who are enlightened can receive the blessings of the Tao, greatly increase their wisdom, and multiply their skills.
Finally, practice. The path of practice needs to be combined with practice to be effective. Practice is the application of the Tao in life to benefit sentient beings. Practice enables practitioners to gain a deeper understanding of the true meaning of the Tao and a firmer belief in the Tao.
Revealing the truth and not sticking to words is the highest state of cultivation. In order to achieve this state, it is necessary to start from the mind, cultivate virtue, enlightenment, and practice in order to be effective. May all fellow initiates encourage him!
