Defrosting is a very critical issue in air conditioning systems. In a low temperature environment, the outdoor unit of the air conditioning system is prone to frost, which will seriously affect the cooling effect of the air conditioning system. In order to solve this problem, some defrosting methods need to be adopted.
The traditional defrosting methods are automatic defrost and manual defrosting. Automatic defrost is to detect the temperature of the outdoor unit through the temperature sensor, and when the temperature drops below a certain value, the air conditioning system will automatically switch to defrost mode. Manual defrost requires manual activation of the defrost function.
However, there are some problems with these traditional defrosting methods. For example, automatic defrost may be performed without the need for defrosting, resulting in wasted energy. Manual defrosting requires manual operation and is more troublesome.
In order to solve these problems, some new defrosting methods have been developed. These include the heat pump defrost method. The principle of heat pump defrosting is to absorb the heat of the outdoor unit through the heat pump and transfer it to the indoor unit, so as to increase the temperature of the outdoor unit and achieve the effect of defrosting.
Compared with the traditional defrosting method, the heat pump defrost method has higher energy efficiency, and can also automatically adjust the defrost time according to the actual needs, avoiding the waste of energy. Therefore, the heat pump defrost method has gradually been widely used.
