Strengthen exhibition management and servicesHelp enterprises go out and take orders to expand the market
In April this year, the General Office of the People's Republic of China issued the "Opinions on Promoting the Stable Scale and Optimal Structure of Foreign Trade", emphasizing that all localities, trade promotion agencies and business associations will further increase their support for foreign trade enterprises to participate in various overseas exhibitions, and continue to cultivate overseas self-organized exhibitions and expand the scale of exhibitions.
In this regard, Zhang Xin said that the exhibition industry is an important platform for building a modern market system and an open economic system. Since the beginning of this year, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, together with relevant departments, has conscientiously done a good job in the application and approval of projects to hold economic exhibitions abroad, and has continuously increased support for foreign trade enterprises to participate in various overseas exhibitions. Judging from the understanding of the situation, the number and scale of Chinese enterprises participating in overseas exhibitions have grown rapidly this year, the demand for overseas exhibitions is strong, and the overseas exhibitions have shown a comprehensive recovery trend.
From the perspective of overseas exhibition destinations, Asia, Western Europe and North America are important target markets for Chinese enterprises to participate in foreign exhibitions, and maintain a high attraction to Chinese enterprises. Germany and the United States are the top destinations for Chinese companies to participate in overseas exhibitions, followed by Russia, Japan and Brazil, with the above five countries accounting for nearly 50% of the total number of exhibitors.
From the perspective of overseas exhibition industries, compared with 2019, the structure of the overseas exhibition industry category has changed, comprehensive, textile, and machinery are still the main industries for overseas exhibitions, and the proportion of health care, transportation and logistics, information and communication industries has increased.
From the point of view of the destination of the exhibition abroad,In 2023, a total of 78 exhibition projects will be held abroad, more than half of which will be concentrated in Asia, with Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan having the largest number. The area, volume and actual results of the exhibition projects have been continuously improved, such as the exhibition area of 10,000 square meters for the China (Belarus) Goods and Services Exhibition, and the exhibition area of the China (United Arab Emirates) ** Expo for 29,000 square meters.
In the next step, CCPIT will increase exhibition management and services, hold more country exhibition briefings and situation analysis meetings, carry out a series of trainings on intellectual property rights and exhibition business, optimize the functions and content of the CCPIT exhibition public service network, and help enterprises go global, get orders and expand markets. There are four main aspects of work:

We will make every effort to hold the 2nd China International Chain Promotion Expo, and hold major economic and trade activities such as the Global Investment Promotion Summit and the China-Japan-South Korea Business Summit with high quality. Carefully organize overseas (territory) economic and trade exhibitions, and organize a delegation of entrepreneurs to go to the sea to expand the market to get orders. Expand the function of serving foreign-funded enterprises, make good use of the "Invest in China" network platform, organize more "local trip" activities for foreign-funded enterprises, and help more high-quality foreign-funded projects land. Continue to promote the implementation of RCEP and other free trade agreements.

We will continue to hold the Global Conference on the Rule of Law in Business and Commerce, give better play to the role of organizations for the prevention and settlement of international commercial disputes, and create a platform for international exchanges and cooperation in the field of commercial law. Strengthen the response to economic and trade frictions, optimize commercial mediation, international arbitration, intellectual property rights and other services, promote the investigation of compliance risks in the international operation of enterprises in key industries, and help enterprises prevent risks and settle disputes.
– Actively participating in the reform and construction of the global economic governance system. Strengthen strategic cooperation with international organizations such as the World Organization, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the International Chamber of Commerce. Organize Chinese enterprises to actively participate in the business community activities under multilateral mechanisms such as the G20, APEC, BRICS, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, deeply participate in discussions on issues, express the concerns and demands of the Chinese business community, put forward China's plans and initiatives, and build consensus on cooperation.
-- Accelerate the construction of high-level application-oriented think tanks. Closely follow the new trends in the field of international economy and trade, the new situation of foreign trade and foreign investment, and the new situation of the implementation of bail-out policies for enterprises, conduct in-depth research on enterprises, and put forward more targeted and high-value policy suggestions. The amount of the RCEP Certificate of Origin visa of the National Trade Promotion System is 5$6.8 billion;The number of visas was 19,834, a year-on-year increase of 2083%;* There were 3,434 enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 1241%, the export destination countries include Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and other 11 member countries, and it is expected that a total of 00.9 billion US dollars, the first dividend brought by RCEP continues to be released.
A total of 746 outbound ATA documents were issued by the national trade promotion system, a year-on-year increase of 13987%;The relevant ATA Carnet covers a value of more than 18.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5455%;* There were 199 enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 874%。This shows that the enthusiasm of Chinese enterprises to expand the international market through exhibitions, sample testing and other channels is constantly improving.
