Little Stone's job search story.

Background

Hello everyone, I am Xiaoshi, 24 bachelor's degree in economics, Fujian Provincial Shuangnon School. This autumn recruitment successfully landed a relatively ordinary position in a large factory, but I am already very satisfied. Let me give you a brief look at the resume that I have changed many, many versions.

The first internship was a mistake

I saw that the internship experience was very rich, and it was also very suitable for the target position, but in the end, I did not choose to continue to apply for this position in the autumn recruitment, and chose something else.

It's amazing, I wasn't actually a very purposeful person at the beginning, but I always had a very determined thing in my freshman year, that is, I won't go to graduate school, I won't go to the public entrance examination, I just want to find a class.

Because of this idea, I started looking for an internship in the summer of my freshman year. It was really difficult at the beginning, freshman year + 20 years of epidemic + 0 experience, and the student work experience at that time was far less than now, so I basically just went to sea and came blindly.

It is common for my resume (which is still very shocking to see that I can actually find a job) to be read in the recruitment software and not returned, until I applied for a social recruitment position, and after communication, I was willing to let me go for an interview and try it. I am really, really grateful to the sister who offered me an interview, and I managed to get myself an opportunity in this interview and became their first intern. The atmosphere of the department is very harmonious, they are all beautiful sisters, and my mentor is also very good, teaching me a lot of things, so that I can work basically by hand from 0 experience, and then to be able to produce later.

Those two months were actually really long, and because I just started, I stepped on a lot of pitfalls. For example, if the company is outside the island, I rent a house on the island, and I spend twice as much time commuting every day. For example, after signing an annual rent, the agent also said that "it can definitely be subleased", and finally lost a month's deposit. For example, in fact, there are a lot of strange companies, and a lot of thought and travel expenses have been spent.

But what I'm most glad about is that I've always been accompanied, and I'm not alone on this road. At that time, I shared a house with 7766, so a lot of things would be better if we were together. I went to work and got off work like this, and after two months of internship, I went back to continue to brush up on my school's experience points, and the first year passed like this, but I found that I really liked doing this, so I started to explore for a period of time and participated in a lot of career planning.

The second internship will end in half a month

The following summer, I started looking for a job again with my tattered resume.

This time it was relatively smooth, although my resume was sparsely written, but with a little bit of internship experience, there were more opportunities for communication, and people began to take the initiative to greet me and invite me to submit my resume. After a relatively smooth run, I managed to join a game company. At first, I wanted to train me in the direction of recruitment + personnel, everything went well, the company's benefits were very good, and there was no commuting inside and outside the island this time, but I only worked for half a month. Because half a month later, he passed the selection of a national competition and was admitted to the finals. At the same time, the Internet+ project is in the sprint provincial competition, and the schedule is not open. I chose to quit my job. It's not that the job is bad, it's because I'm only a sophomore, I want to build up my on-campus experience again, and the project is a constant battle.

Looking back now, I still don't regret my choice, because our project won the bronze award in the national competition, I won the excellence award in the competition, and won 3 in the offer link. At the same time, in that year, I got a ticket to the simulated job search contest with a worry-free future, because it was the first time to participate in the online competition, so I didn't perform very well, and only won the excellence award, but I also met a lot of very good students. Later, I went to other competition competitions and finally won the first prize, which made me full of confidence and motivation to continue on the road of HR.

rushed to Hangzhou for an internship, and the rent was half a month's salary

In the third year, I learned to change my resume and changed my resume from the previous sloppy look like this!

This year's summer vacation was really smooth, at the beginning of Hangzhou no news, I was in Xiamen Haitou, won three or four offers, and then decided, and turned to Haitou Hangzhou, at most a day can meet four or five companies, and finally took four or five offers, picked the most want to go, waited for half a month, long admired the name of the company, and then rushed to Hangzhou.

The price of Hangzhou is really high, "Hangzhou makes money and Hangzhou spends", and the rent is 2000+ a month. But in the two months in Hangzhou, I really learned a lot, I may have just done recruitment before, but at that time, I would understand the business, learn how to communicate with the business department, and transform from recruitment to BP. It is also because I met a very, very good mentor who is willing to take me to learn a lot of things, she is a gentle and firm representative of the people I have met, I am really honored, I can meet super good teachers in every internship, so that I can learn a lot of things every time!

In September, I went back to school to attend classes, and at the same time participated in competitions, recruited in the fall, and interned at the same time. With my firm career goals, I went to the career planning competition again, and in four years, I participated in four career planning competitions, from 0 experience to rich internship experience, a few strokes on my resume, and it took me three years of hard work. I know very well that my education, background, major, and grades are not outstanding, and I can only keep making up for them in other aspects, and I just hope that I can reach the same starting point with everyone.

This month, after layers of screening, I stood in the final of the future worry-free simulated job search, and successfully won the championship by relying on my continuous accumulation. At the same time, on the way to the autumn recruitment, I received no less than 30 rejection letters, and even failed to pass the final interview, I once thought that it was because of my limited ability or lack of experience, and I also joked with others, "a woman who is biased towards liberal arts" seems to be my case record. After constant adjustments, interviews, and four years of internship, I chose a different position, and I hope that I can make a name for myself on a new path in the future.

Finally, I would like to give you a few tips:

1.In the game, "momentum" is very important.

It is completely common to work overtime and stay up late when the project sprints for awards, and you must be psychologically prepared to enter the project, especially for the sprint provincial award, which basically requires about a month of high-intensity meetings, communication, and performances. Career planning competitions are essentially performances, to perform the ordinary person in the position you are interested in, and also to let you experience what it is like to really go to work.

2.When looking for a job, it is important to be "cheeky".

Pre-job search,You have to keep going to the recruitment software to say hello, actively ask, put on your own advantages, and show HR your highlights, so that she will be willing to click on your chat box in 200+ unread messages. Then you have to actively look for the skills and soft abilities that are relevant to the position, and match yourself to the seat. It is also necessary to actively find the content related to the company and the project, and read and memorize it familiarly.

3.Internship, "blunt sensibility" is very important.

After you get a job, maybe because it is your first internship, you are not familiar with many things, your mentor explains it to you, you can't, she may say a few words to you. At this time,"."Internal friction" is very undesirable. Your mentor has met countless interns, you are just one of them, and she just casually said, you just need to remember your problem and avoid it next time, don't magnify the accusation and turn it into a straw that crushes you.

Life is like a reverse journey, and I am also a pedestrian. I hope that everyone who is looking for a job can be ready to go to the next far.
