AB Servo drive overcurrent fault maintenance measures.

AB servo drive overcurrent fault is not difficult to repair, as long as you find the root cause of the failure, take timely countermeasures, you can make your servo drive back to normal, in the maintenance of overcurrent fault, can be used to repair and detect the corresponding measures explained as follows.

AB servo drive is overcurrent when running.

That is, the motor drive system encounters overcurrent during the working process, which causes the AB servo drive to prompt the overcurrent factors as follows:

1. When the motor transmission mechanism is "stuck" or encounters impact load, the working voltage of the motor expands suddenly, and overcurrent occurs.

AB servo drive output port short circuit fault, such as output port connection line short circuit fault, or motor internal structure short circuit fault, grounding motor winding damage, winding insulation deterioration caused by short circuit fault, and cable damage, etc., the output current of AB servo drive greatly increases the overcurrent.

The AB servo drive was originally working malfunctioning. Two inverter devices on the same bridge arm fail when working alternately. For example, due to the high ambient temperature or the aging of the inverter elements, which leads to a change in the inverter parameters, resulting in one machine being switched off and the other already turned on during the alternating process, resulting in the same upper and lower parts of the bridge arm. At the same time, the DC voltage poles are in a short-circuit fault state, which greatly increases the internal structure current of the AB servo drive, resulting in overcurrent.

AB servo drive overcurrent when acceleration and deceleration.

If the inertia of the load is relatively large, the acceleration time or deceleration time set by the AB servo drive is too short, which will lead to overcurrent. In the acceleration link, if the output power of the CNC AB servo drive rises too fast, the synchronization speed of the motor will also rise rapidly, in view of the relatively large load inertia, the speed of the motor rotor can not keep up, resulting in the instability of the acceleration current, resulting in the AB servo drive overcurrent protection; In the deceleration link, if the reduction ratio set by the AB servo drive is too short, the synchronization speed of the motor will drop quickly, and the motor rotor will maintain high speed in view of the large load inertia. The linear velocity of the rotor winding cutting off the magnetic field is too high to produce overcurrent, resulting in overcurrent protection of the AB servo drive.

Overcurrent occurs at power-up or start-up.

This kind of overcurrent protection is generally caused by the fault of the internal structure of the AB servo drive. If the load is normal, the AB servo drive will still have overcurrent protection, most of which are caused by overcurrent detection circuits, such as current detection circuits, sampling resistors or sensors.
