1. Understand Xiao Pan Bodhi.
Xiaopan Bodhi is a unique plant with high ornamental value and profound cultural connotation. Its leaves are thick, dark green with silvery-white markings. Xiaopan Bodhi prefers a warm and humid environment, has weak cold tolerance, and is suitable for growing indoors or temperate climates.
Second, choose the right breeding environment.
In order for Xiaopan Bodhi to grow healthily, a well-ventilated, semi-shady, and humid environment should be chosen. Try to avoid exposing it to direct sunlight to avoid leaf burns. Keep the indoor temperature between 15 -25 and make sure the ambient humidity is moderate.
3. Prepare suitable soil.
Xiaopan Bodhi has high requirements for soil, and loose and well-drained acidic soil should be selected. It is recommended to mix humus, garden soil and river sand in a ratio of 2:2:1, and then add an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer as culture soil. The soil can be loosened every spring to increase air permeability.
4. Watering and fertilizing.
Xiao Pan Bodhi likes to be wet, but avoid waterlogging. When watering, follow the principle of "see dry and see wet" to keep the soil moist and free of waterlogging. During the growing season, a thin liquid fertilizer with decay is applied every half month to promote the flourishing of branches and leaves. When entering the dormant period in winter, watering and fertilizing should be reduced to keep the soil dry.
5. Pruning and propagation.
During the growth period, overly dense branches and diseased branches should be pruned to maintain the beautiful plant shape. To propagate Xiaopan Bodhi, you can use cuttings, select semi-lignified branches, insert them into loose soil, keep them moist, and take root for about 20 days.
6. Pest control.
Common pests and diseases in Xiaopan Bodhi include anthracnose, aphids, etc. Attention should be paid to the growth of plants, and once pests and diseases are found, corresponding measures should be taken immediately to prevent and control them. It can be controlled with carbendazim, imidacloprid and other agents.
