Her encouragement and guidance helped me grow and improve
Recently, I packed up my old books at home and inadvertently turned out a scrapbook from more than 20 years ago. When I opened it, I saw a slightly yellowed clipping newspaper. In 2000, the "People's Public Security Daily" published a ** that made my heart move, recalling the bits and pieces of my relationship with the "People's Public Security Daily".
In 1997, I graduated from the police academy and came to work at the Sanchakou Border Police Station of the former Mudanjiang Public Security Frontier Detachment. On the second day of reporting, I saw a copy of the "People's Public Security Daily" in the duty room, which not only introduced the work experience of policing, but also showed the demeanor of the people's police in performing their duties to protect peace and serve the masses. Since then, I have regarded the People's Public Security Daily as a good teacher, applied the working methods I learned Xi to practical work, and quickly adapted to the work of the police station.
The first attempt was made in the summer of 2000. One day in early July, after learning that Xiao Weidong, the deputy director, and Cui Changsong, a police officer, were going to the rice field of Uncle Jin's house, a disabled person in the district, to help weed and thin the seedlings, I took my camera with me. Xiao Weidong and Cui Changsong were busy in the field, and I was busy thinking about how to shoot well. When it was almost noon, Uncle Jin's wife went to the ground to deliver water to the police, only to see Xiao Weidong sweating profusely, bending down to take the water bowl handed over by the aunt with his right hand, and holding the rice seedlings in his left hand, Cui Changsong looked at the aunt with a smile on his face. My eyes lit up, and I picked up my camera in time to take this touching picture. I sent the film to the county photo studio more than 10 kilometers away for processing, and pasted ** on a piece of A4 paper and sent it to the "People's Public Security Daily". Half a month later, the ** I photographed was published, and I can still recall how excited I was dancing at that time.
Since then, my interest in photography and writing has become stronger and stronger, and through continuous Xi learning, speculation, and practice, more and more manuscripts have been published at all levels. My growth and progress are inseparable from the encouragement and guidance of the People's Public Security Daily, who is not only my mentor, but also a close friend who silently accompanies me in guarding the frontier.
