Today, a customer reported that his computer was running very slowly, and he was spinning the mouse pointer in circles. No, I just built him a pretty high-spec computer this spring. So I asked him to open the task manager and take a look, as shown in Figure 1.
Take a closer look at the memory that is used too much.,94% of the use.,I installed him with 64G of memory.,That's okay.,Hurry up and let him click on the memory to see.,It's really like this after clicking on it.,64G memory actually used 58G,As shown in Figure 2。
Which program takes up so much memory?I asked him to click on the details again, and I was surprised when I opened it, it turned out that the Intel graphics card control panel took up too much, and the eight processes occupied nearly 50G memory, as shown in Figure 3
Because his machine has a discrete graphics card, Intel does not need to use Intel's graphics card control panel, so I asked him to forcibly end these processes, and the effect is of course obvious, and the memory footprint is reduced by 80%, as shown in Figure 4
In order to solve the problem completely, I asked him to go into the control panel to uninstall the Intel graphics card control panel as shown in Figure 5 and Figure 6
In fact, IntelArcControl is part of the Intel graphics driver, and Intel processors with core graphics from the 11th generation onwards will automatically install the Intel graphics driver for you. It controls the behavior of Intel graphics cards in computer systems. If you have a dedicated discrete graphics card, you won't have a problem uninstalling this program.
