At the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Committee Nguyen Phu Trong and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thanh, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China will pay a state visit to Vietnam from December 12 to 13.
China and Vietnam have a long history of people-to-people exchanges. At present, exchanges and interactions between the two sides in the fields of education, youth, arts and sports are thriving.
China has been Vietnam's largest partner for many years, and Vietnam is China's largest partner in ASEAN and the fourth largest partner in the world.
Represented by Hanoi Light Rail Line 2, China-Vietnam investment cooperation has achieved remarkable results. China's investment and cooperation with Vietnam has a large stock, a wide range of fields and rapid growth. Investment cooperation in green development and digital economy has been steadily promoted, and has become a new growth point for investment cooperation between the two countries.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries, and during the state visit, the two sides will focus on six areas: politics, security, practical cooperation, public opinion, multilateral and maritime issues, and promote the deepening of comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries.
