Hualong Network News (Reporter Liu Yan, Shi Xi Sheng, Huang Yixuan) Today (18th), the Runze (Southwest) International Information Port Intelligent Computing Center project held a groundbreaking event.
Located in Taojia Town, Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, Runze (Southwest) International Information Port Project is a new infrastructure project, which is invested by Runze Technology Group and constructed by Chongqing Branch of Southwest Company of China Construction Eighth Bureau.
Runze (Southwest) International Information Port Project has a total of 8 data rooms and intelligent computing centers, with a total construction area of 2560,000 square meters. The project will create a safe, reliable and stable data center operating environment with the highest level of T4, with 4,184 cabinets in a single computer room and 3 cabinets in the overall projectMore than 20,000 units.
Among them, the first two data centers were officially completed in May 2022. The intelligent computing center that started construction this time reached 640,000 square meters, about 8,000 cabinets.
In addition, the project will also build a southwest big data innovation application center, a computing power center, and a comprehensive service supporting park.

The entire project is expected to be completed in 2026 and will become the largest data processing center in southwest China, which can provide safe, reliable, efficient and professional cloud computing and storage for customers such as ChinaTelecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, China Education Network, etc.
It is understood that the Southwest Big Data Innovation and Application Center Project, a related supporting project of the Runze (Southwest) International Information Port Project, is also under construction. At present, the main structure of the project has been fully capped, and the secondary structure project has also been completed, and the interior decoration and façade curtain wall construction are underway, which is expected to be completed in August 2024.
