This year's winter has been particularly cold, as if the whole world has been covered in a thick layer of frost. Whenever the morning sun shines through the window, I always feel a chill hit me and I can't help but shiver.
In the morning, when I walked out of the house, I was shivering in the biting cold wind. Pedestrians on the streets, wrapped in thick down jackets, wearing hats and gloves, hurried to their respective destinations. There was a hint of exhaustion and helplessness on their faces, as if this winter had brought them too much trouble.
Walking through the cold streets, I saw many beautiful landscapes of ice and snow. The branches of the trees were covered with crystal clear ice cubes, each of which shimmered like a tiny diamond. A thin layer of frost on the roof, like a silver-white blanket, adds a sense of mystery to the whole city. The lake in the park is frozen and covered with a flat layer of ice, and children are laughing and skating on it.
However, the cold of this winter also caused me some inconvenience. Every morning when I wake up, I have to spend more time getting dressed and putting on makeup to withstand the cold wind outside. On the way to work, I had to walk cautiously for fear that I would slip and fall if I wasn't careful. The heating in the office was on, but it still couldn't completely dispel the chill from my body. Every night when I come home, I can't wait to get into the warm quilt and enjoy the warmth of home.
Even though this winter was particularly cold, it also brought me some good memories. I went skiing with my friends and felt the stinging of the snowflakes on my face and the thrill of skiing; My family and I sat around the fire, sipping hot pot and tea, sharing each other's stories and happiness. These warm moments made me feel the beauty and warmth of winter.
The cold of winter is a bit uncomfortable, but it's also an expression of nature. It makes us cherish the warmth and warmth of home more, and know how to share and care with others more. Whether it's in a cold winter or a hot summer, we should learn to appreciate and be grateful for all that nature has given us.
