Recently, under the guidance of the Organization Department of the District Committee and the Youth League Committee, the New Year's Exchange Meeting of the "Elite Gathering in Pudong" Famous Schools Admission Plan hosted by the District Youth Federation was held in Pudong International Talent Port. The heads and representatives of the alumni associations of the universities in Hong Kong had in-depth exchanges on the alumni association's own construction and service alumni brand projects.
In order to accelerate the construction of an international talent development leading area, at the beginning of this year, Pudong released the "1+1+N" talent policy system and launched the first batch of special policies represented by the "Pearl Plan". The relevant person in charge of the Talent Office of the District Party Committee said that Pudong New Area has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the important speech of the General Secretary of the People's Republic of China during his visit to Shanghai, adhered to the overall promotion of the "trinity" of education, science and technology, and talents, and adhered to the deep integration and development of the innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain and talent chain. It is hoped that the alumni associations can give full play to their respective advantages in the future, combine the industrial characteristics of Pudong, gather alumni resources, and form a good situation of leading the district and outstanding talents to go in both directions and empower each other.
The relevant person in charge of the Youth League District Committee said that the college alumni association is an important part of deepening the construction of the whole chain of young talent service system, and hopes that the alumni associations of all colleges and universities will play the role of a bridge, make concerted efforts to do a good job in alumni service, and guide the majority of alumni to make steady progress in the new journey of Pudong leading the construction of the district. It is hoped that the alumni associations of all universities will further play the role of a platform, promote "recommending talents with talents" and "attracting talents with talents", continue to hold the global university alumni science and technology innovation competition, link advantageous resources, and build a high-quality platform for alumni to share resources and communicate with each other.
The heads and representatives of the alumni associations of various universities gave a detailed introduction to the alumni association's own construction and service alumni brand projects, and put forward valuable suggestions on how to carry out exchanges and cooperation with Pudong in the future. The conference also held the award ceremony of the "Gathering Talents, Creating the Future" Pudong New Area Global University Alumni Science and Technology Innovation Competition.
In 2019, the Organization Department of the District Committee and the Youth League Committee jointly launched the "Elite Gathering in Pudong" Elite School Admission Program, and at present, the Pudong International Talent Port has signed contracts with 20 alumni associations of famous universities to enter Hong Kong, and has carried out exchanges and cooperation with 50 alumni associations of well-known universities at home and abroad in Shanghai. The program aims to give full play to the unique advantages of the alumni association in "recommending talents with talents" and "attracting talents with talents", and at the same time build a win-win platform for alumni developing in Pudong to share friendship, share resources and seek common development.
In the future, Pudong will continue to introduce a number of high-quality alumni associations of prestigious universities, continue to expand the circle of friends for talent development, further amplify the effect of talent agglomeration, realize the organic link and comprehensive expansion of talents, policies, technologies and resources, and comprehensively promote the construction of Pudong as a leading area for international talent development.
