Thousands of mountains and birds fly away, and thousands of paths and people disappear", this is the famous sentence of Liu Zongyuan, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty, and it is a picture of the bleak and lonely barren mountains and mountains in midwinter. At this moment, I am alone through this no-man's land, and I feel the desolation of its artistic conception.
There was silence, only the sound of footsteps on fallen leaves echoed in the empty valley. Looking up, thousands of mountains and ravines stretch endlessly, mountains and mountains are stacked, and clouds and mist are shrouded. The birds are extinct, and there is no trace of life. There is no trace of life. I can't help but think of the phrase "In the world of life, suddenly like a traveler from afar", in front of this vast nature, human beings seem so small.
However, in this seemingly dead land, there is endless life. Under the dead branches and leaves, new shoots are quietly germinating. Between the cracks in the stones, a small grass stubbornly poked its head out and stretched out towards the sun. These seemingly insignificant lives interpret the meaning of existence in their own way. They are not afraid of the cold and heat, the wind, frost, rain and snow, and they have always grown tenaciously and become a bright color of this desolate place.
I continued on my way, through dense forests. The forest trails meander and mean, as if to guide me deeper into this mysterious place. On the way, I came across a dying tree. The trunk is charred and the branches and leaves are withered, but it still stands, as if to tell the tenacity and indomitability of life. I couldn't help but marvel at the wonder and power of nature, and I was glad I was able to witness it all with my own eyes.
I don't know how long I walked, but I came to a secluded valley. There is a clear spring in the valley, and the sound of the water is murmuring, like the sound of nature. When I got closer, I saw that the water was crystal clear, and small fish were swimming freely in the water. It made me feel the beauty and tranquility of life. I sat on a rock, closed my eyes, and listened to the sounds of nature. The rustle of the leaves in the wind, the tinkling of the flowing springs, the chirping of birds in the distance, ......These sounds are intertwined to form a wonderful symphony.
At this moment, it dawned on me. "Thousands of mountains and birds fly away, and thousands of people disappear" is not really dead and desolate, but another form of life reproduction. In this seemingly no-man's land, life blooms with its own unique beauty. They don't need outside attention and praise, they just need to stick to their beliefs and pursuits.
I took a deep breath, stood up, and moved on. This journey has taught me the true meaning of life: no matter what circumstances we are in, we should cherish life and love it. No matter what kind of difficulties and challenges we face, we should face them bravely and firmly believe. Because the meaning of life is not about the length of time, but about how we spend each day and how we live our true selves.
Thousands of mountains and birds fly away, and thousands of people disappear. In this quiet place, I found inner peace and strength.
