In the just-concluded 2023 [heads-up] fourth season finals, "100 steps through Yang" Zhang Kunpeng defeated the powerful Zheng Yubo with an outstanding performance and successfully won the championship.
Now let's take you to know Zhang Kunpeng.
Zhang Kunpeng, born in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province in August 1996, is currently active in the Chinese billiards arena of several top masters, nicknamed "Hundred Steps Through Yang", it can be seen that the accuracy of the Chinese billiards long table is recognized. His master is Cheng Jianze.
Zhang Kunpeng is 186 meters, handsome, low-key and easy-going, is a typical tall and handsome guy in the hearts of fans, and is currently ranked fourth in the Chinese billiards standings (updated in December 2023).
First, the "dark horse" is coming
In 2014, Zhang Kunpeng began to enter the public eye, but at that time he mostly played the role of a "dark horse". In November 2014, the Chinese Billiards Masters sub-station (Beijing Station), 18-year-old Zhang Kunpeng defeated Jiang Shouyu, Shan Hongyu, Wang Gengmo, Zhang Yue and other strong opponents, and advanced to the top 16 for the first time, so he became famous.
In July 2015, Zhang Kunpeng continued to play the role of "dark horse", and almost "black to the end", defeated the national champion Wang Yun and the top master Li Bo in the billiards match of the Beijing Sports Conference, won the runner-up, created a personal best, and ended perfectly for his 18-year-old. His "don't die" style of play is feared by opponents.

In December of the same year, Zhang Kunpeng won his first Chinese billiards championship in the Chinese Billiards China Classic (Harbin Station).
In January 2017, in the Chinese Billiards International Masters Global Finals (the fifth), or in Qinhuangdao, Zhang Kunpeng won the runner-up.
