On December 2, Huofeng Community, Guandukou Town, Badong County, Enshi Prefecture, together with the "Child Companion Mother" of Xixiba Village, led the left-behind children to visit the county museum and children's park. This activity allowed the children to feel the joy of childhood and gave them a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Patong.
In this activity, the "children's mother" took the children to visit the exhibition of cultural relics protection achievements in the Hubei reservoir area of the Three Gorges Project, the Kou Gong Ancestral Hall and the Qingfeng Museum. Through on-site explanations, the children learned Xi the long history and rich culture of Patong. They learn the importance of protecting cultural relics and learn to respect and revere them.
It is understood that the "Child Companion Mother" project is a left-behind child care project jointly initiated by the China Rural Development Association and local departments, research institutions, public welfare organizations and caring enterprises. Through the model of "one person, one family, one link", we provide care services for left-behind and disadvantaged children in rural areas. With the "Child Companion Mother" as the core and the "Child Companion Home" as the platform, the project will establish a guardianship network for left-behind children in counties, townships and villages, and explore effective ways for them to benefit and protect the rights and interests of left-behind children in rural areas.
The implementation of this project makes left-behind children feel the care and warmth from the society, and also provides them with more opportunities and resources for their growth. By visiting museums and children's parks, they not only broaden their horizons, but also develop a love for cultural heritage and a sense of conservation.
In the next step, Badong County will continue to organize and carry out such activities to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of rural children and effectively create a harbor for rural children.
