Since the implementation of the new national standard, the battery of electric vehicles has become an important project to inspect the market across the country, and the relevant departments have been taking action to rectify the battery problem for many years.Recently, there has been a wave of major inspections of new and used electric vehicle batteries in the electric vehicle market, including lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries. What exactly is checked? How to penalize? It's official!Let's take a look.
1. Check the battery problem in batches.
The form of batch inspection is that the market supervision bureau will carry out a random selection of large quantities of battery products for quality, safety and other related inspections, and solve problems in a timely manner. Batch inspection is generally carried out directly for the batch of products of the enterprise, and the relevant problems will be directly required to rectify the enterprise.
For example, the Shaanxi Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau recently organized and carried out provincial supervision and random inspections of 10 kinds of product quality, including lead-acid batteries and electric bicycle chargers.
2. Check the "three nos" lithium battery products.
At present, the relevant departments are focusing on the inspection items of the electric vehicle market, and the three non-lithium battery products. The inspection is those products that do not have a factory name and address, no product implementation standards, and even no label identification, and do not meet the relevant laws and regulations.
Most of these products are assembled and produced by small workshops or individuals using retired power batteries or other second-hand lithium batteries, which lack the most basic safety issues and are also the key reasons for the frequent fires of electric vehicles.
Previously, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of a district in Foshan investigated and dealt with 2 cases of using waste battery cells to produce lithium batteries for electric bicycles in the special rectification action of electric bicycles and battery products, and imposed serious penalties.
3. Check the battery tampering problem.
When inspecting the electric vehicle market, the relevant departments will clearly check whether the battery used in the electric vehicle is consistent with the information on the vehicle product certificate, whether the parameters and models match, and whether there is any unauthorized modification of the lithium battery equipped with the vehicle into lead-acid batteries, large-capacity batteries or old batteries.
Previously, a dealer in Shanghai removed the original 48V battery of the electric vehicle and installed 5 12V batteries, resulting in the problem of battery voltage reaching 60V, and was fined RMB 7,500 by the relevant departments.
4. Check the problem of waste batteries.
Lead-acid batteries have been developing in the electric vehicle industry for many years, and the products and sales channels have been very mature, so the relevant departments will rectify the problem of waste batteries in stores more during inspections.
According to the relevant national policies, the number of waste batteries hoarded by merchants shall not exceed 3 tons, and the hoarding time shall not exceed 90 days. In other words, no more than 3 tons of used batteries must be disposed of within 3 months.
Waste batteries are also the key inspection items of the relevant departments of various provinces and cities in the country when rectifying the electric vehicle market, especially at the end of the year, the inspection intensity of the waste battery market has also continued to increase, and special attention is needed.
The battery problem has always been a big problem in the inspection of the electric vehicle market, and the officials around the country have clarified the inspection items and penalties of the battery market, hoping that the majority of dealers can attach great importance to it.
