ZCUSN10-1 cast tin bronze

QSN10-1 is a copper-tin-phosphorus ternary cast tin bronze with high tin and phosphorus content. The solubility of elemental phosphorus in copper is very small and is mainly in the form of (+cuP) eutectic. Cu P compounds have high hardness, which significantly improves the mechanical properties of the alloy. At the same time, elemental phosphorus can also significantly reduce the surface tension of the molten copper, and improve the fluidity and filling capacity of the melt. The alloy has high strength, good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, and sufficient thermal stability below 300. It is used to manufacture wear-resistant parts that work at high loads (15 20MPa), high sliding speeds (3 8m s) and higher temperatures.

3.Melting and casting processes

Melting process Alloys are usually melted in a weak oxidizing atmosphere or under the protective conditions of an oxidizing atmosphere and a covering agent by a crucible furnace or an induction furnace. Use charcoal or crushed graphite blocks calcined at high temperatures as a covering agent. The crucible and charge should be fully preheated, melted quickly, and gases should be minimized**. Deoxidation with copper-phosphorus, finally tin added, and poured out of the furnace.

Casting process. Casting performance The alloy crystallization temperature range is wide, and it has the characteristics of forming paste-like crystals when solidifyingIt has strong air absorption, and is easy to react with the moisture in the mold to form subcutaneous poresHowever, the fluidity of the alloy melt is good (50cm at 1200);The line shrinkage is low (1.).44%), which does not form large concentrated shrinkage porosity.

Pouring temperature Control the pouring temperature according to the cross-sectional size of the casting, and the thick-walled large castings are 1050 1150;Thin-walled small castings are 1100 1200.

Stress-relieving annealing: 400 500, air-cooled.

4.Application overview and special requirements

Bushings, bearings, screws, gears and special gaskets for working at high loads (up to 20 MPa) and high sliding speeds (up to 8 m s) are used.
