Japanese tuning company damd is best known for modding the Suzuki Jimny, best known for its aero kits inspired by the Land Rover Defender and Mercedes G-Class. However, at the upcoming 2024 Tokyo Tuning Car Show, DAMD will also offer another retro exterior package for the world-popular small off-road vehicle, with body kits themed after the 80s cannon Lancia Delta Integrale and the Renault 5 Turbo, respectively, giving the Jimny a retro off-road cannon style.

Japanese tuning factory damd will bring two retro gun-style jimnys to the 2024 Tokyo Tuning Auto Show.

The theme of Damm's modification for Jimny this time is the European Masterpieces, a nod to the signature hatchback of the 80s. Although the proportions are different, it looks like a little δ in Lancia DeltaIn the kit, DAMAD still fully integrates delta into jimny. The nose has been redesigned with four round headlights, as well as a chrome radiator cover and an exclusive bumper. In addition to the changes to the front end, the side has also been replaced with a wide-body kit to emulate the Delta's classic Coke bottle turtle bodywork. At the rear, the same delta roof wing provides additional downforce, while the rear fenders also feature air vents and body-coloured bumpers.

Another little 5 that pays homage to the Renault 5 turboThe package follows the same design style, adding R5 design elements to the headlights and radiator cover, as well as blue exterior light covers, black bumpers, side air intakes and a different roof spoiler. DAMAD also added no turbo paint on the side of the car, deprecating that the Suzuki Jimny was powered only by naturally aspirated air.

Both kits feature new retro aluminium rims developed in collaboration with Oz Racing and are spec-compatible with JIMNY. The wheels are available in Race White with red lettering or in dark graphite with white lettering, both of which can be purchased separately.

The 2024 Tokyo Tuned Car Show will be held from January 12 to 14 at Makuhari Messe, Japan, and it is believed that it will create a wave of buzz.
