South African side Mamelodi Sandanse took a major step towards advancing to the knockout stages of the AFC Champions League after beating Pyramids FC. The match was played in Egypt and Sandanse showed a great performance, taking the lead in the 17th minute through a goal from Tiboho Mokoena. Modise attributes their success to talented players, as well as coaches who have implemented effective strategies to beat their opponents. Overall, a win over Pyramids FC by Mamelodi Sandarnes would bring them closer to qualifying for the African Champions League, while Pyramids' chances of progressing to the quarter-finals hang in the balance.
