Brussels, December 13 - The 5th Offshore Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Development Forum was held in Brussels on the 12th, with nearly 70 experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, professionals and young students gathered together to build consensus and share opportunities.

In the keynote speech, Piet Herdewijn, former director of the Institute of Medical Research of the University of Leuven in Belgium, discussed the similarities and differences between Chinese, European and American students in terms of academic Xi and innovation, said that China and the EU have broad prospects for cooperation in the fields of technological innovation, talent training, and enterprise investment, and called for strengthening personnel exchanges, technology exchanges, and project cooperation.
Song Zhiwei, President of the China-Europe Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association, elaborated on the current benefits of European enterprises' cooperation with China and the strategic space for future development, saying that the offshore model will play a positive role in China-EU cooperation. Bernard DeWitt, Chairman of the Belgian-Chinese Economic and Trade Commission, said that Chinese and European universities, scientific research institutions and industrial parks can take the lead in carrying out cooperation, focusing on biomedicine, new energy, digital economy and other fields, and try to promote the transformation of achievements in an offshore way.
In the business promotion session, Liu Yu, deputy director of Tianjin Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Chen Qiang, director of Binhai-Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park Office of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Li Guomao, head of the National Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Talents (Tianjin Binhai New Area), also signed a cooperation agreement with the China-Europe Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association.
The Offshore Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Development Forum has been held four times before, and the 12th is the first time to go abroad and hold the forum overseas. According to reports, this move is intended to promote the forum to be more international and professional, understand the needs of overseas talents, communicate new trends and new methods of innovation and entrepreneurship, and lay the foundation for future cooperation.
