Jingxiong Expressway, the whole line is open to traffic!
The reporter learned from the Ministry of Transport on December 28 that the Beijing-Xiong Expressway Beijing Fifth Ring Road to the Sixth Ring Road was successfully completed on the same day. So far, the Jingxiong Expressway has been opened to traffic.

The Jingxiong Expressway is a direct expressway connecting Beijing to Xiong'an New Area, with a total length of about 97 kilometers, of which the Beijing section is about 27 kilometers and the Hebei section is about 70 kilometers. From the Fifth Ring Road in the southwest of Beijing to the Xiong'an New Area, the travel time of the whole line is about 1 hour.

From construction to operation, the Jingxiong Expressway embodies the concept of "smart highway" in many aspects. According to Liu Yingpei, chief engineer of China Railway Jingxiong Company, Jingxiong Expressway has set up a smart high-speed monitoring center, with the help of 5G private network, full-line meteorological collection, variable information signs and other technologies and facilities, it can realize integrated perception, calculation, communication and information release, and provide more timely and accurate information services for car owners.
The Jingxiong Bridge is one of the highlights of the Jingxiong Expressway. The bridge adopts a Feiyan-style arch structure, and the vaults are connected by wind braces in the shape of "Chinese knots", implying the close connection and coordinated development of Beijing and Xiong'an.
On December 28, the Xiong'an section of the Beijing-Xiongxiong Expressway (drone**) was taken on the same day, and the Beijing-Xiongxiong Expressway was successfully completed from the fifth to the sixth ring roads. So far, the Jingxiong Expressway has been opened to traffic. The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Transportation Commission said that the Beijing-Xiong'an Expressway, the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and the Daguang Expressway together form a convenient, smooth and complementary regional expressway network, which strengthens the transportation connection between Beijing and Xiong'an New Area, and provides a better transportation service guarantee for the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
