The All-China Federation of Trade Unions recently issued a notice that it will carry out a pilot project for national employee entrepreneurship, create a high-quality project for employee entrepreneurship, and explore a new model for trade unions to support employee entrepreneurship.
According to the notice, it is planned that by 2025, each provincial trade union will create more than one high-quality employee entrepreneurship project, and the ratio of the number of employees to the number of entrepreneurs will not be less than 10:1; Supporting 10,000 small and micro enterprises to start their own businesses has achieved results, and building a national trade union employee entrepreneurship project database and a team of entrepreneurial expert mentors, creating a "Gongyi Vocational Innovation" brand for trade unions to promote employee entrepreneurship, and giving full play to the employment multiplication effect of entrepreneurship.
It is understood that the pilot work will encourage trade unions at all levels to mobilize the majority of employees to set up entrepreneurial projects around the production and living needs of employees, focusing on the declaration of entrepreneurial projects that serve the production and living needs of employees, connect with the construction of the trade union employee service system, and take the initiative of front-line workers to drive employment. Every year, the ACFTU determines a number of high-quality employee entrepreneurship projects for piloting, and trade unions at all levels gather all kinds of resources to provide support for entrepreneurial projects in terms of funds, venues, talents, technology, etc., and strive to improve the success rate of employees' entrepreneurship and promote employment through entrepreneurship.
In the next step, trade unions at all levels across the country will actively connect with policies, funds and various resources, financial institutions and other social organizations to attract more funds, talents and technologies to jointly help employees start their own businesses, steadily expand the scale of entrepreneurial projects, and give full play to the employment multiplication effect of entrepreneurship. The ACFTU will also hold a national exhibition and exchange activity of employee entrepreneurship projects in a timely manner to show the demeanor of employee entrepreneurs in the new era.
