Lin Kunshan (first from right) introduces the changes of Shapowei to tourists.
The first year of the lunar calendar is approaching. These days, Lin Kunshan is busy designing New Year's cards, planning to print and mail them to friends who have visited the Chaozong Palace in Xiagang. "This is the cradle of the harbor city, and it hides the ...... of nostalgia for many peopleLin Kunshan said.
When it comes to the research and inheritance of Xiagang culture, many people will associate it with old experts. Lin Kunshan is in his early 40s, wears glasses and likes to speak Hokkien. Since 2010, Lin Kunshan has been a volunteer in Chaozong Palace, and has volunteered to receive many overseas Chinese and compatriots from Taiwan, Hong Kong and MacaoIn order to build a bridge for cultural exchanges, he also read many books on the history and culture of southern Fujian, advocated the opening of the "Yushapo Forum", and wrote and published hundreds of relevant manuscripts.
Excavate historical materials and write hundreds of articles.
Lin Kunshan is a native of Xiamen and has lived in the area of Meiren Palace since he was a child. In the alleys, the scenes of neighbors making tea and talking about fairies, and the folk activities often held, impressed him deeply and stimulated his interest in southern Fujian culture.
In 2012, when Lin Kunshan chatted with an old resident of Xiagang, he accidentally learned that there was a royal plaque in the palace of Chaozong. However, the Chaozong Palace has been abandoned several times, the original plaque has disappeared, and the relevant historical materials are not detailed enough.
In order to find out this history, Lin Kunshan successively consulted the "Xiamen Chronicles" and "Qing Historical Manuscripts", and also contacted the First Historical Archives of China and other units. "This plaque was given by the emperor in the 52nd year of Qianlong, and it is written with the words 'Tianlan Yizhen'. Due to the inconvenience of transportation in ancient times, when I arrived at the border island, it was already the beginning of the next year. Lin Kunshan introduced that after a period of research and verification, he finally wrote a research exchange manuscript of more than 2,000 words, which was published in relevant journals.
Later, the plaque was copied and "re-hung" in the palace of Chaozong. According to historical records, during the 100 years of the Kangqian period of the Qing Dynasty, the only ferry port from the mainland to Taiwan was set up on the revetment in front of the Chaozong Palace. All **, merchants, and people need to go to Chaozong Palace for the record before crossing the sea. Lin Kunshan said that as an important port for cross-strait exchanges, regaining the story behind this plaque is of great value for people to understand the culture of Xiamen and Hong Kong and retain the memory of the city.
Up to now, Lin Kunshan has collected two newspaper clippings related to Xiamen and Hong Kong, and a number of cultural and historical materialsHe has written more than 300 articles related to folk culture. "Whenever students, scholars, and foreign friends come to collect information, I will tell them about the history of Xiamen and Hong Kong. Only by telling the story of Xiamen and Hong Kong can everyone know more about Xiamen. He said.
Recreate traditional folk activities.
It's not just about studying the culture of Xiamen and Hong Kong. Lin Kunshan is still thinking about how to pass them on and retain nostalgia.
The place where the Chaozong Palace is located was also called "Yusha Slope" in ancient times. In 2019, under the matchmaking of Lin Kunshan, the "Yushapo Forum" came into being. In the first phase of the event, Peng Yiwan, an expert in Xiamen literature and history, gave a lecture on the theme of "Jiang Yuanshu's Cross-Strait Relationship". At that time, Wang Meng, a Chinese who was far away in Jakarta, Indonesia, saw the news in the circle of friends and hurriedly wrote to tell him how much he missed his hometown: "I want to go home to see, go back to Xiamen, go back to Shapowei to see .......""The second phase of the event, we specially arranged the time when Wang Meng came to Xiamen. Lin Kunshan recalled that she brought her two children to relive the life and cultural imprints of Xiagang.
Before the Spring Festival, residents of Xiagang community, Taiwan compatriots, and foreign students gathered on the stage of Shapowei, carved daffodils with carving knives, and took the brush to write the word "Fu".During the Mid-Autumn Festival, foreigners from the United States, the Czech Republic, Italy, Russia, the Netherlands, South Africa and other countries listened to the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival and participated in the cakeDuring the Qixi Festival, young people on both sides of the strait wear champion hats and champion clothes to experience the intangible cultural heritage folk ...... of "Seven Niang Ma is 16 years old".Lin Kunshan has made great efforts to hold these activities, "I will research the materials, consult with experts in literature and history, and then combine the current conditions to set up the content of the activities and invite participants." ”
Someone once asked me: You are a young man, why do you study the history and culture that these old people are interested in?Lin Kunshan said that looking back on his years of experience, he found meaning from it - "let more people know the history and folk culture of Xiamen Port, build a bridge for Chinese compatriots to retain their nostalgia, and attract more international friends to love Ludao." ”
He in the eyes of literary and historical experts:
Enthusiastic about promoting local culture.
Because of his love for southern Fujian culture, Lin Kunshan has communicated with many cultural and historical experts in our city, and Peng Yiwan is one of them. "Some time ago, his mother was sick, and while he took care of her, he used the rest time to make newspaper clippings. Lin Kunshan is not only a young man who is enthusiastic about traditional culture, but also a filial son. Peng Yiwan said that this young man often comes to ask questions; He will also help collect and buy the books he needs when doing his own literary and historical research. Although he is not a professional researcher of literature and history, Lin Kunshan spends most of his spare time researching, publicizing and promoting local culture, and uses culture and nostalgia to string together the friendship of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao compatriots and overseas Chinese compatriots for the motherland.
