The postgraduate examination direction of hydrology and water resources engineering mainly includes the following three:
Hydrological Sciences and Engineering**. This direction conducts in-depth research on hydrological cycle processes, hydrological forecasting, hydrological analysis and calculation, etc., and cultivates students to master solid basic theories and methods of hydrology, and have the ability to obtain, process and analyze hydrological data, so as to provide a scientific basis for hydrological scientific research and water resources engineering management.
Water Resources Engineering and Management**. Students will learn Xi basic theories and methods of water resources evaluation, planning and management, master the balance between supply and demand of water resources, water environmental protection and water disaster prevention and control, and provide technical support for the sustainable use and management of water resources.
Ecological water conservancy project**. Students will Xi learn the basic theories and methods of ecology, water ecology and hydraulic engineering, and have the ability to plan, design and construct ecological and hydraulic projects, and promote the harmonious development of water conservancy engineering construction and ecological environment.
All three paths aim to provide students with comprehensive hydrological and water resources engineering knowledge and skills to adapt to changing environmental and societal needs. The choice of direction depends on the student's interests and career plans.
