What is Acrylic?
Acrylic acid is an organic compound, also known as septic acid, which is the simplest unsaturated fatty acid with the molecular formula C HO. Acrylic acid is the simplest unsaturated aliphatic carboxylic acid, in the acrylic acid molecule, the carboxylic acid carbon atoms are arranged in a sp hybridized manner, and the positions of the three hybrid orbitals are in the same plane, forming a chemical bond angle of about 120 °. The three orbitals are bonded with carbonyl oxygen, hydroxyl oxygen, and vinyl carbon, respectively. There is also a p orbital on the carboxyl carbon, and this orbital overlaps with the p orbital on the carbonyl oxygen to form a bond.
