Mainly used in the field of medical and laboratory instruments, the Luer connector is a standardized leak-free connector for microscopic analysis. The Luer connector makes it easy to switch between four bags without having to dismantle the patient's needle. These connectors also allow several compatible liquids to be delivered in the same piping system, minimizing the number of wounds on the patient's body. The anti-slip mat performance of Luer cone joint is a key indicator to measure its quality, and the 6% Luer cone joint leakage detector Lue-10 is a special equipment used to test the leakage performance of Luer cone joint.

Luer Cone Joint Leakage Detector LUE-10

R&D Background:

The 6% Luer Cone Leakage Detector can be used not only to test its leakage performance, but also to test the air leakage, separation force, release torque, ease of installation, overload resistance, stress cracking, positive pressure liquid leakage rate and negative pressure gas leakage rate of Luer cone locking joints. This test is widely used to evaluate the performance of luer tapered fittings for medical devices.

According to the standard:

According to GB T 1962In the 1-2015 standard, a leakage phenomenon in a Luer cone joint is defined as a leakage that does not allow water droplets to fall, and the axis of the joint needs to be horizontal.

How to use:

1.Connect the cone joint to be tested to an outer steel cone joint or an internal standard fitting with dimensions as shown in Figure 4 or Figure 5. Make sure that both parties are dry when connecting. 27 is applied during assemblyThe axial force of 5n is maintained for 5 seconds while not exceeding 01m torque, the angle of rotation must not exceed 90.

2.Pour an appropriate amount of water into the inside of the component.

3.Exhaust the internal air.

4.Make sure that the environment around the cone joint assembly is dry.

5.Seal the assembly outlet and raise the internal water pressure to 300 kPa.

6.Maintain this pressure for 30 seconds.

Precautions:

1.Other test methods (e.g. Appendix A) may also be used if the test results are in good agreement with the results of the standard test methods mentioned above.
