Dear teachers and students:

dear teachers and schoolmates:

Hello everyone!good morning!

I am Chen Siyan, a third-year junior high school student, and today I will report to you the speech under the national flag, and the title of my speech is "Remembering History, Strengthening the Country with Me".

i’m d**id from grade 9. today, i want to talk about something important with the title “remembering our past and strengthening our country”.

December 13th is the National Memorial Day in our country.

december 13th marks the national day of mourning of our country.

We live in a big family of the motherland without worries, and we are rich in clothing, food, housing, transportation, use, education, and so on. We are happy and even more fortunate because we grew up in a new era of peaceful development of the motherland.

today, we live happily in our big family which is, our country. we h**e everything we need, like clothes, food, places to live, ways to get around, and schools to study lessons. we’re really lucky to grow up in a time when our country is peaceful.

But you know what?Just 86 years ago, that is, on December 13, 1937, it was "the darkest page in the history of modern civilization", when the Japanese artillery bombarded the gate of Nanjing, and the inhumane invaders carried out a terrible large-scale ** against the defenseless Chinese civilians for six weeks - this is the "Nanjing Da**" fire that shocked the world, burning the bleak sky;Blood, soaked in the earth of suffering. The screams were all over the place, and the heart was torn; The corpses were everywhere and shocking. The ancient capital of the Ten Dynasties and the gold dust of the Six Dynasties fell and destroyed. 300,000 living souls, beautiful lives, disappeared and annihilated! This is a shadow that can never be erased by a country and a nation, and a pain that can never be forgotten! This is a history of blood and tears, a history of suffering, and a history of humiliation!

but, did you know? 86 years ago, on december 13, 1937, something really bad happened. it was the darkest time in modern history. on that day, the japanese army attacked nanjing, and for six weeks, they hurt a lot of people who couldn’t defend themselves. this terrible event is known as the “nanjing massacre.” fire and blood made the sky and ground look very bad. people cried out in pain, and there were dead bodies everywhere. the old capital city of nanjing was destroyed. 300,000 lives were lost, and it’s something our country and our people can never forget. it’s a very sad and miserable part of our history.

Today, when we stand here and watch the bright five-star red flag rising like fire in the morning breeze, I believe that all of us are surging with an incomparably proud, incomparably proud, and incomparably sacred feeling in our hearts. No matter where we go, no matter when and where we are, as long as we see it flying high in the blue sky and white clouds, we will naturally think that the motherland is connected with our flesh and blood, glory and disgrace! If the motherland is glorious, we will be glorious, and if the motherland is disgraced, we will be disgraced!Every year today, the city of Nanjing will sound the alarm to mourn the compatriots who died in the big **. Amid the heart-rending sirens, people either stood in contemplation or mourned silently. The alarm reminds every Chinese that we must never forget the humiliation suffered by the country and the city of Nanjing!Students, please remember that blood cannot be shed in vainHistory must not be forgotten.

we should always remember not to forget our country’s tough times because forgetting history is like betraying our roots. today, as we stand here and see our bright red flag w**ing in the wind, we should feel proud and happy. no matter where we go, when we see our flag in the sky, we should remember that our country is like family to us. if our country is happy, we’re happy. if our country feels bad, we feel bad too! every year on this day, nanjing rings an alarm to remember the people who suffered in the nanjing massacre. when we hear the alarm, we should remember our country’s tough times. remember, my schoolmates, we should not forget our history.

Nanjing's tragic death reflects a truth: if you are backward, you will be beaten. Don't forget the past, the teacher of the future, and only by taking history as a mirror can we create the future. Today's motherland has cultivated us to grow up healthily, put morality first, ability first, and develop in an all-round way, and grow into qualified builders of socialism and reliable people. Tomorrow's motherland needs us to make meritorious contributions and strive to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the reunification of the motherland, and world peace.

the nanjing massacre was very sad, and it shows us that if a country falls behind, bad things can happen. we need to remember the past so we can make a better future. today, our country helps us grow up to be good and strong people. we need to do our best for our country, to make it even better, and to help our people. in the future, our country will need us to do great things for our nation, to unite our country, and to keep peace in the world.

Students, we should be self-reliant. Please join me in saying out loud: Remember history, a strong country has me. Bearing in mind history, I am a strong countryBearing in mind history, I am a strong country

schoolmates, let’s work hard for a better future. please say aloud with me. remembering our past and strengthening our country. remembering our past and strengthening our country. remembering our past and strengthening our country!

Thank you for my speech under the national flag!

that’s the end of my speech. thank you!

History cannot be forgotten, and the truth needs to be told from generation to generation. The monuments and burial grounds are the historical witnesses of the national catastrophe in 1937, and they are the alarm bells that remind us to remember history, never forget the past, cherish peace, and create the future!

The river of time, the river is endless, and the mission of youth is in the same vein. ** The general secretary once pointed out: "The hope of tomorrow's China lies in the youth. The prosperity of young people leads to the prosperity of the country, and China's development depends on the strong and responsible development of the vast number of young people. "Let us have great ambitions, great virtues, great talents, and great responsibilities, and strive to become new people of the era who are worthy of the important task of national rejuvenation, and live up to the expectations of the party, the people's trust, and our great era!
