Before the cold wave came, the temperature in Guangdong fluctuated a little. Today is relatively cool as a whole, most of the province (except for the west-west cities and counties) cloudy to cloudy, with light rain locally. Xinyi City, Maoming recorded the highest temperature in the province of 285℃。Qingyuan Lianshan recorded the lowest temperature in the province of 91℃。
From yesterday night to today's day, under the influence of weak cold air, Guangzhou was cloudy, with the lowest temperature of 12 15 in the northern mountainous area and 16 21 in the rest of the area, down 1 3 from yesterday. Due to the increase in cloud cover, the highest temperature in each district during the day today is 20 23, down 3 5 from yesterday.
From 20 o'clock yesterday to 16 o'clock today, no precipitation was recorded at the Guangzhou Observatory, and the temperature was 169～20.4. Relative humidity 70% 80%, visibility about 30 km.
For the coming cold air, the meteorological department's previous statement was strong cold air. Strong cold air, the daily minimum temperature is cooled by more than or equal to 8 within 48 hours, and the daily minimum temperature of the place drops to 8 or below.
Cold wave, the minimum temperature of the day within 24 hours of cooling greater than or equal to 8, or 48 hours of cooling greater than or equal to 10, or 72 hours of cooling greater than or equal to 12, and the daily minimum temperature of the place dropped to 4 or below (of which 48 hours, 72 hours of cooling refers to the continuous decline of the daily minimum temperature). It can be seen that the cooling range is not a joke.
If it is like this, it will be cool all the time, and when the cold wave comes, everyone may not feel that it has dropped very much, but the temperature will rise tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. The Meteorological Observatory predicts that from December 14th to 15th, most of Guangdong will be mainly cloudy, the temperature will rise, and the visibility in western cities and counties will drop in the morning and evening. Affected by the cold wave from December 16, there will be a weather process with significant winds and light rain in Guangdong. The cold wave front will reach northern Guangdong on the evening of December 15, Guangzhou in the early morning of the 16th, and the southern coast during the day on the 16th, with the average daily temperature dropping by 9 13, and the lowest temperature in the process will occur in the morning of December 21-22, and the lowest temperature in northern Guangdong can reach about 0 (minus 2 0 in the alpine mountains).
From December 14th to 15th, Guangzhou was mainly cloudy, and the temperature gradually rose, and the cold wave brought rapid cooling, strong winds and weak precipitation from the 16th. On December 15, the highest temperature in Guangzhou was about 27, and on December 16, the maximum temperature during the day may drop to about 12, and the temperature dropped significantly.
The meteorological department reminded that due to the influence of the cold wave, there will be cloudy and light rain weather in Guangzhou from December 16 to 19, and the temperature will drop rapidly, and the average daily temperature will drop by 11 13. The maximum temperature in the urban area may drop to around 12, and the minimum temperature will drop to around 7, with gusts of 5 to 7. This time the cooling range is large and the cold lasts for a long time, please pay special attention to the cold protection and warmth of the elderly, children, cardiovascular disease patients and other frail groups at home.
