Recently, I listened to Mr. Lu Linyuan's speech, and I was deeply shocked.
He mentioned a very subversive point that made me re-examine the origins of Marxism.
Mr. Lu believes that Marxism teaches Protestant doctrines, and the latter is deeply rooted in the thought of Mencius in China, which is quite unique and challenges our traditional understanding of the origin of Marxism.
Mr. Lu further elaborated that during the Mongol expedition to the west, our culture and thoughts, including Confucius and Mencius thought, spread to the West and had a profound impact on the religious revolution in the West.
That is, the October Revolution could be an upgraded version of the Western religious revolution.
The reason why we were able to quickly assimilate and apply the theory of the October Revolution was that it was itself a source for us.
This point of view aroused strong reflection in my heart, and I could not help but think about the relationship between Cuba and Marxism, and why Cuba has the soil for the survival of Marxism
If the Cuban thinker is searched in a domestic search engine, José Martí, he may be ahead of Castro.
In 1868, when Cuba's First War of Independence broke out, the young José Martí threw himself into the effort, calling on the Cuban people to rebel against Spanish rule and fight for national independence.
In 1871, he was exiled to Europe by Spain**, where his experience made him deeply aware of the nature of Western aggression and strengthened his conviction that armed resistance to Spanish rule was necessary.
In 1874, he tried to return home to continue supporting the Cuban people's struggle, but was thwarted by the Spanish authorities.
After that, he began to promote the idea of Cuban independence abroad.
Jose. MartyIn April 1892, he presided over the inaugural meeting of the Cuban Revolutionary Party in New York, laying a solid foundation for the Cuban people to overthrow Spanish rule.
However, in 1895, when the Cuban War of Independence was about to be won, José Martí was tragically killed in battle.
After his death, Cuba's ** power gradually became dominant, resulting in Cuba being controlled by the United States for a long time, and the country was in a state of chaos, although Cuba gained national independence.
Nevertheless, José Martí has sown the seeds of Marxism in the hearts of the Cuban people, waiting only for the right time and the right person to water it to thrive.
In the history of Cuba, the two men are particularly remarkable.
They are Machado and Fulgencio Batista.
Machado was the fifth Cuban after independence, while Fulgencio Battista was the de facto controller of Cuba in the 30s and 50s of the 20th century.
Both faced a similar dilemma when they were in power, with the Cuban people living in hardship due to the control of American capital over the Cuban economy.
Both Machado Machado and Fulgencio Battista attributed the chaos in the country to the opposition of some people, trying to consolidate resources and change the status quo by establishing a ** regime.
However, the measures they adopted were too extreme, and they not only met with domestic opposition, but also made the United States sigh.
Later, under Castro's leadership, in January 1959, Cuba truly broke away from the United States and became a sovereign and independent country.
Why did Cuba choose the socialist path?
At the root of this, we can understand that we were guided by the sages of Confucius and Mencius, and they were not guided by their own "sages of Confucius and Mencius".
It is worth noting that in 1976, Cuba incorporated José Martí's ideas into the Constitution and the Party Constitution, which shows how high his status is in the hearts of the Cuban people.
In the first half of the 20th century, Cuba had always looked up to the United States as a model, but it seemed that Cuba had not benefited much from following the United States.
Thus, people like Machado and Batista, albeit **, are also trying to find another way to bring Cuba out of chaos.
Therefore, whether it is the upper class or the lower class of the people, the survival soil of the American system is collapsing.
However, Machado and Batista's tactics were too drastic and did not win the favor of the Cuban underclass.
Compared with Castro's policy, their policy is to force the people at the bottom to work hard for the Americans to make money, but the workers have almost no food, clothing, shelter and transportation.
In contrast, Castro's policies took back American privileges in Cuba, although there was a period of repression in the early days against Americans and the Cuban upper echelons.
In the days that followed, the Cuban people gradually had relatively stable food, clothing, shelter and transportation, and Castro was recognized in the hearts of the Cuban people.
Therefore, the most fundamental reason why Cuba chose Marxism-Leninism and Marxism-Leninism ultimately had a deep soil in Cuba was that the Cuban people had no choice in the election under the circumstances at that time.
When the West has appeared in the Soviet Union, and it is a completely different fireworks, how can they not appreciate learning and learning from it?
There may still be people who scold Castro for various reasons, but they don't know that Castro has helped Cuba get out of the dark forest and welcome a new light.
Even though Cuba is still being blockaded by some of the great powers, it has inherited José. How could the successors of Marty's stubbornness and resistance ideas be crushed.
