Starting next month, Google plans to test a feature called Tracking Protection, which will restrict** access to third-party cookies. But before that, we'll introduce new features to make Google Chrome smarter and more secure.
According to Google's statement;Several new features for security controls, memory savings, and tab groups are available to users starting this week. While the three innovations that have been announced will be launched this week, the fourth one will have to wait a few weeks.
According to the internet giant's statement, the security checkup feature will now run automatically in the background of the Chrome desktop app. It automatically tells users which passwords have been compromised, whether there are malicious extensions, if permissions need to be changed, and if they're using the latest version of Chrome. Security Check can also revoke permissions that have not been accessed in a period of time.
Google now allows memory saving features to share more information. Now, the user will be told how much memory will be saved if the tab is allowed to remain disabled. In addition, users will be informed which tabs should remain active.
The last change that will take effect in the next few weeks is related to the tab group feature. With the help of this feature, Google Chrome users will be able to save tab groups and access them from different desktop devices.
