Basic facts of the case. Dai took the winning invoice to the relevant unit to redeem the prize in accordance with the provisions of the instructions for redeeming the prize in the invoice, and the staff of the unit refused to redeem the prize on the grounds that the winning invoice needed to be issued to redeem the prize. Subsequently, when Dai went to the place where the invoice was issued to request the prize, the waiter also refused to redeem the prize on the grounds that the boss was not there. In desperation, Dai sued the unit to the Shilong District Court in accordance with the law, requiring the unit to fulfill the obligation to redeem the winning invoice.
Outcome of the trial. After trial, the Shilong District Court held that the unit's refusal to redeem the award violated the provisions of the invoice award redemption instructions in the "Measures for the Administration of Ordinary Invoices with Prizes", and the relevant departments should fulfill the obligation to redeem the prize to the winner in a timely manner according to the winning amount in the winning invoice in accordance with the relevant regulations. Subsequently, the administrative tribunal of the Shilong District Court informed the unit in writing to fulfill the obligation to redeem the prize, and after receiving the notice, the unit determined the authenticity of the winning invoice, and immediately redeemed the invoice bonus for Dai, who was satisfied with the result and took the initiative to withdraw the lawsuit.
Judge reminds.
