My parents are not there, and my hometown is full of passers by

When we were children, we always longed for the distance, the high-rise buildings of the city, and those new things. However, when our parents are around, no matter where we go, there is always a warm place in our hearts, and that is our hometown.

However, when our parents are gone, is our hometown still that warm place for us?

Once, the streets and alleys we were familiar with, the places to play, the relatives and friends, seemed to have become strange overnight. Every time I return to my hometown, it is no longer a place full of expectations, but a place full of memories. We have become passers-by in our hometown, and those people and things that were once familiar have gradually faded away with the passage of time.

Some people say that parents are here, and there is still a place to come in life; When your parents go, there is only one way back in life. Although this sentence is a little sad, it speaks to an inescapable reality. When our parents are not there, we are like a passerby to our hometown, and we don't have that sense of belonging.

However, we should not completely separate ourselves from our hometown just because our parents are gone. After all, that is our roots, where there is our past, where we have our memories, where we have our most innocent smiles and our deepest tears.

Although we have become passers-by of our hometown, we are also the inheritors of our hometown. We must pass on the kindness, tenacity, diligence and love of our parents to make our hometown a better tomorrow.

Although we are just passers-by in our hometown, our hearts will always belong to the place that gives us life. With the expectations of our parents, we go far away and create our own future with our own hands.

Our parents are gone, our hometown is still our hometown, and we are still the children of our hometown. No matter where we go, we must remember that our hometown is our eternal root and our eternal destination.

Finally, may all parents in the world be healthy and happy!
