On the morning of the 9th, the "Exhibition of British Model Wax Figures from the Collection of the National Museum of China" will open at the National Museum. Relying on the wax figures of modern and modern heroes in the collection of the National Museum, the exhibition combines artistic scene design, display of related cultural relics and other forms of expression to present the moving deeds of heroes and models who have struggled for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and carry forward their great spiritual character of perseverance, forge ahead and selfless dedication.
The National Museum has more than 200 wax figures in its collection, including a large number of wax figures of heroic figures. This exhibition selects 30 heroic figures who have walked with the motherland and advanced with the times since the founding of the party for a hundred years, and have fought bravely for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

In terms of exhibition design, in order to allow the audience to have a more intuitive and real feeling, the curator has designed a historical scene closely related to the character for each wax model, and at the same time, the selection of cultural relics is also very targeted, and more than 50 precious cultural relics from the museum's collection have been selected for display. Including: Xiang Jingyu's letter to his niece, Hua Luogeng's syllabus when he gave a lecture on the eve of his death, Li Siguang's handwriting on geothermal issues, Kong Fansen's Xinjiang hat for orphans when he went out on an investigation, Wang Zhongzhong's medal at the 12th World Congress of Neurosurgery in Sydney, and the National Model Worker Medal awarded to Yuan Longping.
In order to enrich the readability of the exhibition, in addition to displaying the relevant cultural relics of the heroic figures, the exhibition also provides more reading content in the original text, so that the audience can have a deeper understanding of the thoughts and feelings of the heroic characters and the essence of their thoughts through reading the original texts.
Wax art is a kind of hyper-realist sculpture art, which shapes the image of the figure vividly, and is known as "three-dimensional photography". The wax figures on display include Li Dazhao, Fang Zhimin and other revolutionary martyrs who shed their blood for the revolution, advanced models of selfless dedication such as Lei Feng, Wang Jinxi, Jiao Yulu, Qian Xuesen, Deng Jiaxian and other brave and innovative "two bombs and one star" meritorious figures, as well as Yang Shanzhou, Huang Wenxiu, Yuan Longping and other models of the new era who have the courage to take responsibility and work hard.
