On December 26th, the "Ancient Yi Fenghua - Yuhang Han Six Dynasties Archaeological Achievements Exhibition" was opened to the public at the Yuhang Archaeological Workstation, and regular appointments were implemented for visits.

On the day of the opening of the appointment, the glazed pottery tripods, boxes, pots, urns, smokers, wells, gold cakes of the Han Dynasty, celadon flat pots and stacked plastic jars of the Western Jin Dynasty of the Three Kingdoms, and the black glazed porcelain smokers of the Deqing kiln of the Eastern Jin Dynasty ......All kinds of cultural relics are neatly displayed in the exhibition hall. Professors, scholars, tour guides, archaeology enthusiasts and other visitors came to visit one after another, "I am a tour guide, and I think that visiting the exhibition is a very good form of 'charging', which will lay a solid foundation for my future interpretation work." Visitor Liu Feng said.

Why archaeology?Why Yuhang?Yuhang, the "double thousand-year-old town", where the Majiabang culture sprouted 7,000 years ago, the ancestors of Liangzhu cultivated and governed jade here 5,000 years ago, and Qin Wangzhi County 2,000 years ago, which became one of the earliest counties in China. Since the establishment of the Yuhang Archaeological Workstation at the end of 2020, archaeologists have excavated a large number of tombs of the Han Dynasty and the surrounding areas in the ancient city of Yuhang, and unearthed a large number of burial artifacts.

Historical relics, cultural monuments, and cultural heritage are part of the life of the city. In this exhibition, representative artifacts are selected from the tombs of the six dynasties of the Han Dynasty excavated in Yiqiao, Fenghuang Mountain and other places around the ancient city of Yuhang. Ding Hao, a staff member of the Yuhang Archaeological Workstation, said that he hoped that through the exhibition, the archaeological and cultural heritage resources would be revitalized, the value of cultural relics would be excavated and interpreted, and the prosperity and glory of Yuhang during the Han Dynasty would be shown, and the cultural sense of belonging and identity of the people would be enhanced while meeting the needs of citizens and tourists to visit the exhibition.
