Human feelings are sophisticated, in fact, it is an endless game.
If someone gives you face, you have to give it back. If someone gives you a gift, you will return the gift. This is called human sophistication.
However, this game is actually very time-consuming and energy-consuming. It prevents you from focusing on what really matters.
I know that. Because my family was poor when I was a child, my parents were busy working, and the level I was at was low, and no one taught me how to be sophisticated.
In fact, after breaking through the circle, you will find that the sophistication of people at the bottom is completely consuming emotions and energy, and there is no meaning.
The essence of human affection is a transaction. If you give me face, I will repay you. It's no different from business.
But the problem is that really good people never play this set. They focus their time and energy on creating value, not on the vain.
The successful people I met later were all straightforward people. They never show off their sophistication, do not engage in hypocrisy and courtesy, and do not talk about those empty greetings. They only talk about value.
So I changed. Begin to learn their way of Xi - concentrate on doing things, not playing the game of human feelings.
As a result, my quality of life improved instantly. Because I am no longer entangled in those cumbersome relationships, my time and energy are all focused on creating value.
Now, even if someone gives me a gift, I will consider whether there is value in helping him, and if not, I will not accept it, and I also directly refuse those hypocritical entertainment.
Even if I occasionally attend a few parties, I will find ways to gain value from the party, such as finding a boss to work with, or accepting a few interested students. I paid 1,000 and had to find a way to earn 10,000 back.
I spend all my time and energy on the things I really care about. So, my income, influence, and sense of accomplishment are all growing steadily.
So I think that the sophistication of human feelings is nothing but a transaction and a game. But smart people don't waste their time on this useless game. Because it doesn't create real value.
