When you think of grape origins, what are some of the places that come to mind?
Is it Turpan where "the sun climbs high to look at the beacon fire, and the horses drink at dusk and crosses the river", or the Dunhuang of "white geese and west wind purple plugs, soap carving sunset and yellow sand"?
In fact, since Dawan grapes entered China from the Western Regions along the Silk Road in the Han Dynasty, grapes have taken root in China.
Especially in the Tang Dynasty, grapes began to be widely cultivated in the interior. At that time, in addition to the mare's milk grape (now Xinjiang mare's milk grape) and the round grape known as "Dragon Pearl", some high-quality varieties were cultivated in various parts of China. Volume 18 of the first collection of "Youyang Miscellaneous Tales" says: "To the south of Beiqiu (now Qinghe County at the junction of Shandong and Hebei provinces) there is a pu grape valley, and the pu grape in the valley can be eaten by it. Locals call it "Queen Mother Pu Grape". The grapes and wine of Taiyuan, Hedong are the tributes to ** in the Kaiyuan period ("New Tang Dynasty Book Geographical Chronicles", "Yuanhe County Chronicles, Hedong Road").
Today, grapes are abundant in Turpan in Xinjiang, Shaanxi-Gansu region, Henan in Hebei, Yantai in Shandong, and dry and hot valley in Yunnan.
Huailai County, located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is one of the oldest grape producing areas in China, with a history of more than 1,200 years of grape cultivation. As a large county in the national grape industry and one of the "top 100 counties in the country", Huailai County has a grape planting area of 120,000 mu, with more than 500 grape varieties such as white horse milk grapes and longan grapes.
The development of the grape industry has not only enriched the fruit bowl table for consumers, but also benefited local farmers. In recent years, Houhaoyao Village, Sangyuan Town, located in the main grape producing area of Huailai, has relied on the model of "grapes + wetlands + hot springs + tourism" to make villagers puff up their pockets and live in buildings. Houhaoyao Village has also developed from an ordinary small mountain village to a new type of rural village with thriving industries and a happy and livable place. The lake, forests, vegetation, and high-rise buildings of the villages are integrated with the harmonious ecological picture of the surrounding area, which is probably a realistic picture of "making the countryside a beautiful home to live and work in peace and contentment".
As the "hometown of Chinese wine", Huailai has a number of "first" records from the first period to the presentThe first bottle of dry wine in New China - Longan Dry White, the first bottle of traditional sparkling wine, the first bottle of international standard brandy, and the first bottle of Marselan wine were all born here. The Great Wall Five-Star Dry Red Wine produced in Huailai has been used as a state banquet wine to repeatedly represent China and entertain the world.
After more than 40 years of development, Huailai has become the largest wine grape planting and processing base at the county level in the country, and is one of the best wine producing areas in the country. At present, there are 41 wine processing enterprises in Huailai County, and more than 80 boutique brands such as "Great Wall", "Sanggan", "Sino-French", "Amethyst", "Huaigu" and "Shacheng" have been created. The grape (wine) industry has become the most distinctive leading industry in the county and a shining business card of Huailai.
The business card of Huai is not only grapes. It isThe first station of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway out of BeijingIt only takes 19 minutes to Beijing Qinghe Station, which is the "bridgehead" connecting Beijing and Tianjin in Zhangjiakou and the "back garden of Beijing".It is the mother river of the capitalThe birthplace of the Yongding RiverIt has the first large-scale reservoir built after the founding of New China - Guanting Reservoir; It isThe hometown of the combat hero Dong Cunrui, the first shot of the Battle of Pingjin was fired in Huailai;itThe cultural connotation is profoundThere is the largest and most complete ancient post station in the country - Jiming Station; It isDigital CityThere is a 100-billion-level data industry cluster with the largest server contract scale and the largest operation scale in the Beijing areaIt isA famous hot spring health resort in North China, with 14 square kilometers of geothermal resources with a temperature of 80;It isThe city of film and television, with "Changjin Lake", "Shangganling" and other masterpieces to tell the world the story of Chinese heroes, ......
