2023 is the eighth anniversary of the promulgation of the Counter-terrorism Law of the People's Republic of China, in order to further enhance the people's awareness of counter-terrorism and terrorism, improve their ability to prevent violence and terrorism, and consolidate and expand the work pattern of "counter-terrorism for all people and create peace together", the Luzhou District Party Committee Law-abiding Law Popularization Coordination Group, together with the Anti-drug Brigade of Luzhou Branch, Shanxi Renai Social Service Center, and Yannan Judicial Office, carried out anti-terrorism law popularization activities in the Huaihai Club.
On the day of the event, the staff explained to the masses the spirit of the important instructions on the current counter-terrorism work, the safety precautions, the methods of identifying terrorist suspects, and how to save themselves in the event of a terrorist attack by hanging banners and distributing publicity materials. The masses have said that through this activity, they have deepened their awareness of counter-terrorism and anti-terrorism, improved their ability to help themselves and each other, and will more actively cooperate with relevant anti-terrorism work in the future. During the event, more than 200 copies of publicity materials such as the Civil Code into the Community, the Anti-Terrorism Law, the Administrative Reconsideration Law, and the Anti-drug Law were distributed.
The purpose of this activity is to further enhance the people's awareness of counter-terrorism and their ability to deal with it, and to create a solid mass foundation and a good atmosphere for the promotion of the rule of law for the solid anti-terrorism work in our region. In the next step, the District Judicial Bureau will continue to do a good job in counter-terrorism propaganda work in accordance with the law, and effectively create a strong atmosphere of "counter-terrorism and joint protection of the homeland for the whole people".
