On December 27, the commencement ceremony of the second phase of the Hongping Pumped Storage Power Station participated in the construction of China Railway 14th Bureau was held, marking the official entry of the project into the construction and implementation stage.
Since entering the site, the project department has carefully organized and actively prepared, strengthened communication and cooperation with local governments and relevant departments, and actively promoted resource allocation, preliminary planning and on-site survey, laying a solid foundation for the start of the project. The second phase of Jiangxi Hongping Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Sanzhalun Township, Jing'an County, Yichun City, and is a key implementation project of the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Jiangxi Province Pumped Storage Planning, with a capacity of 1.8 million kilowatts, mainly composed of upper reservoirs, water transmission systems, underground plant systems, ground switch stations and lower reservoirs and other buildings, and the first phase of the Hongping Pumped Storage Power Station has been built to share the upper and lower reservoirs. After completion, it will undertake the tasks of peak regulation, valley filling, energy storage, frequency regulation, phase modulation and emergency backup of Jiangxi Power Grid, which is of great significance to Jiangxi Province to achieve power structure adjustment and promote local economic and social sustainable development.
