At about 10 o'clock in the morning of the same day, when two Thai workers tightened the last two screws, Thailand's first locally produced battery pack finally completed the assembly process and officially rolled off the production line. This lithium iron phosphate battery has a battery capacity of 38 kWh and a range of up to 400 kilometers, which can meet the mainstream battery demand of A-class vehicles in Thailand's new energy vehicle market. The battery pack has been designated as Nezha Automobile, and is expected to be supplied in batches in the first quarter of next year. In addition, Guoxuan Hi-Tech has reached a strategic cooperation with Hezhong Company in 2023 and obtained the designation of many models of the company's Nezha Automobile.
NVGOTION is a joint venture between Gotion Hi-Tech and Nuovo Plus, a new energy solutions company under PetroThailand. According to NVGOTION CEO Sun Xiyi, the first phase of the Thai plant is planned to have an annual production capacity of 2 GWh, and in the future, it is planned to expand to 8 GWh depending on market demand.

At the ceremony, PetroThailand CEO and President Ataphong said that this is a good cooperation between Thailand and China. The project will bring technology and innovation to Thailand's power battery industry and support Thailand's new energy policy.
Li Jin, chairman of Guoxuan Hi-Tech, said that the first battery product came off the assembly line thanks to the support of China and Thailand. Thailand has an annual output of about 2 million vehicles, and the current penetration rate of new energy is only 10%, and the market potential is huge. In the future, all parties will work together to produce high-quality and high-performance battery products, achieve more and better cooperation results, and make greater contributions to the development of Thailand's energy industry.
