The list of car sales in November has been announced, and judging from the sales performance of various models, the market has shown a situation of falling more and rising less. This phenomenon is even more pronounced in the MPV market. According to statistics, among the top 10 models, only 2 models have month-on-month sales, and none of them have sales of more than 10,000 units, and the overall performance is quite bleak.

The Denza D9 DM-i had a strong sales performance in November, ranking first with 9,739 units. Since the beginning of this year, the sales volume of the DENZA D9 DM-i has been steadily rising, almost in a straight line. Although some may question its sluggish growth, the fact that it has been able to maintain sales despite the overall poor performance of the auto market is in itself a sign of strength.

However, compared to the Denza D9 DM-i, the performance of the Buick GL8 is somewhat unsatisfactory. In October, the Buick GL8 topped the list with 11,028 units sold, but in November, its sales fell sharply by 30% to 7,761 units. This change undoubtedly shows the uncertainty and competitive pressure in the MPV market.

Among the top five models, the sales volume of the Trumpchi M8, Toyota Sena and Trumpchi M6 were 6,229, 5,866 and 4,330 units, respectively. Although sales of these models declined, they all fell by more than 10%. This shows that consumers are becoming more and more diverse in their choices when buying MPVs, and the market is becoming more and more competitive.

It is worth mentioning that the Toyota Grevia and the VOYAH Dreamer PHEV are the only models in the top 10 of the list with month-on-month sales. Among them, 3,768 units were sold by Toyota Grevia and 3,550 units were sold by the VOYAH Dreamer PHEV. The sales growth of these two models is due to their advantages in terms of price/performance ratio and increased market acceptance.

Outside the top 10, Wuling Jiachen, Honda Odyssey and Dongfeng Fengxing Lingzhi sold 3,526, 2,543 and 2,077 units, respectively. Although the sales volume of these models is not high, the performance is relatively stable in the overall MPV market environment.

Ranking 11 to 20 include Honda Elysian, Trumpchi E9 PHEV, Buick Century, Zeekr 009, Volkswagen Weiran, SAIC Maxus G50, Mercedes-Benz Vito, Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Trumpchi E8 PHEV and Ace M7. Among them, the Trumpchi E8 PHEV, as a new model, has a normal increase in sales. The sales volume of Volkswagen Weiran and Mercedes-Benz Vito shows the best trend, and these two models have won the favor of consumers with their brand influence and excellent cost performance.

At the bottom of the list, sales of models such as the Besturn NAT, Jihu Koala, Kusitu, Ruifeng M3, Golden Hiace, Hongqi HQ9, Yuanzhi M1, Denza D9 EV, SAIC Maxus G10 and Wei Gaoshan all declined. Among them, the Extreme Fox Koala and Wei brand Gaoshan, as newly launched models, have done enough work in publicity, but their sales performance is relatively average.

Models ranked 31-40 include Wuling Journey, SAIC Maxus Everybody 9, VOYAH Dreamer EV, Hechuang V09, Fengxing Yacht, Roewe IMAX8, Wuling Capgemini, Toureo, Lingzhi M5 EV and Roewe IMAX8 EV. Among them, the highest-selling Wuling Journey** sold 560 units, while the Roewe iMAX8 EV, which ranked 40th, sold only 177 units. The sluggish sales of these models may be related to their market positioning, brand influence and other factors.

Models in the 41st-49th places include Kia Carnival, Fengguang 320, Refine E3, SAIC Maxus G90, Maple Leaf 80V, Geely Jiaji, Volkswagen Touran L, Besturn M9 and BYD D1. These models have sold between 157 and 14 units respectively in the past month. Among them, there are some well-known models such as Wuling, Capgemini, Kia Carnival, etc., which have poor sales. This may be related to unreasonable pricing, market positioning issues, or strategic abandonment within the manufacturer.

Overall, the MPV market did not perform well in November. The month-on-month decline in sales of mainstream models may indicate that the competition in the MPV market will become more intense. With the "** war" in the sedan and SUV market spreading to the MPV market, it is only a matter of time. This is undoubtedly good news for consumers; However, for car companies, how to maintain sales and enhance brand influence in a highly competitive market will be an important challenge for them.
