The Gmail iOS app provides an easy way to unsubscribe from your email list

The message that Google will provide Gmail users with an easier way to unsubscribe from the email list has been on the agenda before. This long-awaited method has finally been released. First and foremost, users will be able to benefit from this new approach in the Gmail iOS app.

Now, Gmail users can see the words "unsubscribe" almost at the top of the emails sent to them. You can see this button below the subject line and directly above the email content. When viewing screenshots, the button in question is immediately noticeable.

Considering the current methods on mobile devices, it can be said that Gmail offers an easier way to unsubscribe from emails. Previously, users had to tap on the three-dot icon in the message window and select the "Unsubscribe" option, or scroll to the bottom of the email and find the "Unsubscribe" button provided by the sender.

In this new method, just one touch is enough and no additional swiping is required. The web version of Gmail also has an unsubscribe button below the subject line and next to the sender details.

This new button added to the Gmail iOS app is not yet available in the Android app. This is a strange choice considering that Android is Google's platform. It's worth remembering, though, that the internet giant has previously introduced some features to iOS.
