In her personal statement, Tijana Lukovic says: "My paintings and illustrations are inspired by the realm of magic and sometimes metaphysics, which encompass folklore, fairy tales and myths, as well as a love of nature. It may sound incredible, but she expresses this love in a daydream-like image, interweaving the real feelings of each moment with everyday inspiration to form captivating paintings.
Feeling that Tijana Lukovic is particularly fond of the moon and has painted many romantic moonlit nights, she says "Painting is my profession and a kind of **, I explore my heart and try to bring those deeply buried thoughts into my **, I am facing my fears, illuminating my subconscious, and walking through the forest of my childhood memories."
